Alright, so after seeing all of this, I know what’s happening here, and Jesus Christ is this a mess.
I’m actually going to go through all of this in detail, because, my oh my, not only are are you way off here, you’re also moving the goalpost and pivoting to something that nobody even mentioned.
Before I get started, we need to address your use of the term “Fistweaving”, because you genuinely don’t know what you’re talking about.
I expected you to link me a tree that was something close to the entire point of what we were talking about. Something like Rising Mists + AT w/ whatever else like Dancing Mists or so.
Instead, you do the exact opposite and link me:
A CASTER BUILD.
The build you linked me is literally Casting ramps w/ Rising Mists. The staple that most people run.
THIS IS NOT FISTWEAVING.
And see, this is where the disconnect lies. You’re trying to tell me that:
When YOU don’t even know what you’re referencing.
I’ll reiterate:
THIS. IS. NOT. FISTWEAVING.
There is no FLS (Jadefire Stomp)
There is no Ancient Teachings
This is LITERALLY Casting.

^This would be an example of a Fistweaving tree.
And, if you really want to get hypertechnical, the staple you linked would be like “Soleweaving”, since the only thing you’re using would be RSK for Rising Mists.
They do not, because a third that node is useless and the other 2/3rds aren’t worth the point cost without investments elsewhere.
Notice how I don’t have Dancing Mists, Rising Mist or Misty Peaks? That’s why.
Most of Fistweaving healing doesn’t come from Renewing Mist Invig ramps. It comes from Chi’Ji and Gusts of Mists.
I mean, when you type out things like:
It comes off as “I know better than this guy and nothing he says is of any value and he doesn’t understand” ect ect.
But let’s say I give you the benefit of the doubt, yeah?
First attempt at moving the goalpost. I never said the talent itself is bad in general. I said:
It’s pretty evident that I see the value in the node outside of my use cases.
Attempt #2. Literally not a SINGLE time have I attempted to push the narrative that Fistweaving is superior than Casting in EVERY Raid encounter.
The only two would be Brood and Court because there is consistent cleave throughout the fight.
I mentioned this before, but likely the reason there were no high Court parses for Fistweavers for a while is likely due to scuffed trees, poor Chi’Ji timing/value and/or gear that isn’t Haste/Mast. It makes a big difference. Simple example: My trees bugged at one point and I didn’t have Resplendent Mists on. My healing went down 200k or so from what it normally was for the raid size at 597 Item Level.
Currently on Heroic there’s a Fistweaver at the #1 parse w/ 2.3m HPS. About what I’d expect tbh. Also the same in Mythic at 1.4m.
I’m not “acting” like I know anything. I know that I know something, so I’m letting you know what I know so you know what should be known.
Simply put, yes.
Well, when you put it that way, I guess I’ll never push Enveloping Mists when I have an Ox proc.
Or Chi’Ji.
Or Life Cocoon.
Or Vivify.
Or Detox.
I’m well aware there are buttons in my kit that don’t do damage that are benefical to myself and my groups. Not sure why you included this bit.
Anyway, the point is Fistweavers and Casters are different and work differently. They’re both viable, though Casters are overall stronger. I don’t have an issue admitting that.
Casting is more stable and consistent while also having higher raw HPS when there is no cleave.
Fistweaving has higher healing on 2+ cleave and can contribute to damage.
