Farseer desperately needs a buff: Can we please give us more mechanics that summon ancestors? even a spell based proc chance or summon one when dropping (x) totems would help significantly!
you have two abilities to summon an ancestor. NS, Unleash Elements/Unduation, not to mention if you spec into riptides pricing a chance… what else do you want?
they only last for 6 secs man, and then its on cd. they dont do enough healing and it starts to feel like your not able to get the general rotational through put you need when you try to push higher keys. buffing the amount they do really only lowers the skill cap but if there was a way to “ancestor weave” extra ones (so to speak) it would give us the through put without crutching player IQ (not meant offensively).
We should just have a Dark Shaman Hero Talent Tree that functions 99% like the current Farseer Hero Talent Tree, however, instead it binds spirits permanently to totems. You can have up to 4 (Earth, Air, Fire, Water Totems) and each one has a different buff it grants.
Earth = Vers
Air = Crit
Fire = Mastery
Water = Leech
I guess for it to be remotely close to Totemic, power level wise, is what he wants.
I agree, they’re basically weaker versions of resto druid treants, and my druid can summon 3 of those at once on demand and they last 20 seconds by default.
Base ancestor duration should be 10-15 seconds minimum, with the hero talent bumping it to 20s.
