RP/Rppvp servers on Classic wow Hardcore and Season of Mastery 2

Please consider Making there be rp servers on these seasonal servers. There was an event ran by the horde of grobbulus for Season of Mastery with an In character guild with In character death upon the soul of iron character dying. I think that there may be many more people interested in RP and they simply don’t know where to do it.

I think that especially since wrath is a different time period, there’s unmet needs for RP players that prefer to be within the seasonal and potentially even Hardcore servers.

I would really love if they did that, but I highly doubt they will. As it stands we don’t know how many HC servers they will make, I assume only two max, and while SoM2 may have more it still will most likely only be a small handful.

Regardless, I and I’m sure many others will still RP on these types of servers. We just need to be open and communicate on where RPers are and try to gather together and mark one server as the unofficial RP server.

Besides, the tag doesn’t mean anything anymore, sadly… I don’t believe any of the RP server policies are actually enforced these days.

Blizzard didn’t give us a rp-pvp server in SoM 1, what makes u think they’ll do for SoM 2

We need at least 2 more fresh rp servers imp

IDK maybe any amount of coming to their senses.

Blizzard didnt wanna give us Grobbulus either. We had to fight for it.

Because RP-PVP servers are BIS

right, they gave us two lol. And one ended up dying because blizzard can’t manage server populations.

and then in SoM they gave us none

what about this: one solid rp-pvp server for Fresh, no transfers in from anywhere, creation only.

Deviate was originally an overflow server.

I would play this 100%

Indeed, I played on DD until its death. Up until then there was nothing done on Blizz’s part, and then allowing free transfers off condemned it to death.

Its crazy how simple it actually is to manage the servers, it amuses me because its one place where Blizzard could have stuck to their guns and went with a strict zero paid transfers situation and also implemented some balance oriented faction joining locks for new accounts.

Further they could have also put actual locks on character creation on servers in the very early days.

They even could have broke up a few of the big servers and divided them by guild tag and associated friends.

All the tech exists to do any of this, but instead they allowed unmitigated paid transfers for the quick cash grab all at the expense of the long game…

Its like playing a frost mage in pvp and casting literally nothing but Blizzard the whole time because you think that is what mage play is, while completely ignoring almost the entirety of your vast tool kit because the games PvE never lent itself to actually playing the class beyond a couple buttons.
