[RP][NMM] Enforcement Report #1253

For Internal Use Only. If you are not a member of the Mafia, set this document down and turn yourself in to the nearest Compliance Office for reeducation.

In the late hours of September 17th, 2022, the Mafia was called together to Enforce Law and Order in two separate instances.

To start, it was discovered that a most horrendous plot to assassinate King Varian Wrynn was being enacted by a collection of unruly and savage Horde scum. This plot was ultimately thwarted by the combined efforts of No Mercy Mafia, other assorted Alliance Adventurers and the mysterious organization known only as Alljbbrother.

The savage and uncoordinated Horde scum retreated to the Deeprun Tram, where, in their failure to strike anything resembling a decisive blow against the King, they set out to instead attempt to lay low Magni, King of the Dwarves.

Here too they met with failure thanks to quick thinking with portals, moving the incredibly coordinated and well-trained Alliance Defense Force from Stormwind to Ironforge in record time, thwarting their underhanded and cowardly attack.

In the second of the two incidents, it was discovered that the unwashed and unclean Horde Tribe known only as ‘Kush Lords’ was attempting to lay waste to Honor Hold. A Mafia Strike Force, largely comprised of those already assembled to defend the Kings in Stormwind and Ironforge, was dispatched to deal with them.

Let it be known that while the Mafia did in fact assist the Alliance Adventurers already in the area of clearing the so-called ‘Kush Lords’ out of the tavern, the assembled Alliance were already well on their way to extricating the savages all on their own.

Afterwards, it was decided that the Mafia Strike Force would make an example of the Horde savages. Moving across the Path of Glory, the highly trained and incredibly competent Strike Force descended upon the tribal mud-huts of Thrallmar with unmatched ferocity and unbounding aggression. The aforementioned Alliance Adventurers also saw fit to join in on this humiliation of the Horde who had dared to attack the more civilized Honor Hold first.

Needless to say, the combat was swift. The Horde savages were pushed back and ultimately routed within their own ramshackle tribal village within minutes. A complete and total victory for the Mafia and their temporary allies.

Addendum by an unnamed member of the Mafia:

If I may be allowed to wax poetic for a moment. What is the difference between the Horde and the Alliance? What drives us to fight? What sets us apart? I will tell you. It is entitlement versus duty. Selfishness, versus responsibility.

No more is this more clear then in the conflict in Hellfire Peninsula, and indeed in all the Outlands beyond. The Orcish Horde destroyed the world once known as Draenor long, long ago. Now they return to it. Why? Because they feel entitled to it. They selfishly cling to what they see as their property, and drag the rest of the savage races of the Horde right alongside them.

Meanwhile, the Alliance’s every action is based in Duty and Responsibility. It is our duty to make sure nothing as monstrous as the Orcish Horde can come through the Dark Portal ever again. It is our responsibility to see that the threats of the Outlands have been permanently quelled before we turn our eyes to Northrend and the Lich King.

Do I think the Horde can be trusted in the coming campaigns against the Scourge? Not even slightly. But their entitlement and selfishness are predictable. They can be used. We should not ignore the potential they represent… as cannon fodder.

((This RP post is in regards to the events of No Mercy Mafia’s weekly WPvP event, ran today on the Grobbulus RP-PvP server. Many Horde were harmed in the making of this RP post. We appreciate their contributions greatly.))

Mhortai lays the parchment down on her table and as per the usual occurrence thinks out loud to herself:

Good to see these reports going out. It’s a nice way to keep our members involved and informed of our adventures and successes.

Routed, hunted, then destroyed.

On another note, it seems the Horde savages have finally discovered how to cook their meat over fires rather than just eating it raw. This new evolution in their ‘society’ points to them trying to learn from us. More study is required to determine the long term affects of this.

Hahahaahahahaha, I was there for when the horde attacked SW then IF in prepatch (when I started). It was glorious. I thought the server would have more such events. I play wow mostly for the wpvp. I wish I knew about the event today. I woulda joined in. If there’s one thing anyone, including the horde, can agree on; it’s that you can’t trust horde scum. (Except the ones who help me quest:)) but I commend them for initiating the attack on alliance! They are more organized than us in wpvp. When I was fighting I’m halaa, they were able to recruit and push back much quicker than alliance, and we had to try our best to find 2 or 3 allies to help!!! I think they had a good 20 guys come back and take halaa. Just enough time for me to turn in the quest.

Great writing btw! This is lore in addition to what WOTLK has been giving me recently!
