IC: Our Story
The Wound. An aptly named land hemorrhaging the lifeblood of the world. It was the Wound that started… well it started everything, didn’t it?
It began with a handful of druids, all determined to find a solution to the Wound of Azeroth. One such druidess rose above the rest to guide and inspire those around her. She reached out to kin, friends, and family to form a humble group to help heal the greatest wound any of them had ever seen. The Dreamwalkers became a guiding light in knowledge and diplomacy, reaching out to all those capable of healing and those versed in magical knowledge, to join them.
Their humble group grew, their meetings and direction focused on the world and preserving the peace. Within a short time, other groups would step forward and offer aide in conjunction with the Dreamwalkers. To join their cause. To heal Azeroth and to defend the planet from those that would defile it. This cause came under attack and the tensions built to all out war around them. We took up arms and fought to stop it.
Teldrassil. The Kaldorei people were the first slaughtered on the Warchief’s sacrificial pyre. We were in Ashenvale. We were in Darkshore. We were on the Great Sea. On that dark night, we fought them in the air, over land and sea. We held the line; making the Horde bleed for every inch they advanced. It was not enough. The surprise attack on the Kaldorei people was a success, a bloody one. And we lost one of the brightest shining stars amongst our number. Our druidess, the matron of the Dreamwalkers, was gone. Heartbroken and defeated, we pulled back to heal, to grieve, and to regroup.
Lordaeron. We were on the front, attacking Lordaeron for the Alliance. And it fell. The victory did not give much solace. We returned to Kalimdor to fight and defend, only to watch extreme factions of Kaldorei commit atrocities that made them like the very monsters we fought against.
Zandalar. We fought in the sands of Vol’dun, the swamps of Nazmir, and the mountains of Zuldazar. And while we fought to rescue forces, free slaves, and cripple the Zandalari fleet. The same atrocities, albeit worse, were repeated by Alliance and Horde forces alike. We would not slaughter innocents and we would not torture. We pulled back.
War has made us forget what is important. It made us forget the real fight and our real cause. Our drive and our purpose. But no more. We fight for Azeroth. We fight to defend her and save her. Let the warmongers tear each other apart, we will not abandon the world to a fate that may end us all. We will fight with a ferocity unseen to protect her.
We will not yield. We will not falter. This is our home. And we will defend it. Until our last breath.
For Azeroth!
OOC: Our Mission
Hello there! Welcome to the Enclave. We are neutral, loosely organized group striving to create an inviting roleplay experience between guilds and individuals that builds a positive community. We don’t just focus on the ‘big event experience’ but the smaller interpersonal experiences as well, helping to develop characters and organizations alike.
We started as Kaldorei-centric but are, by no means exclusively Kaldorei. We welcome all races and respect the sovereignty of their cultural narratives. We’ve had bumps along the road and lost a friend that is dearly missed but we are still here. We hope you’ll consider joining us on this adventure.

F.A.Q.
Does my character need to be in a guild or have a guild association to join?
No. Your character can be part of a guild or be on their own. The choice is yours, really.
My character is part of a guild but I don’t want to represent it in The Enclave, is that okay?
Of course, why wouldn’t it be? We oftentimes will ask you what nickname/guild tag you’d like in the discord. It is your choice entirely to add guild identification or not.
My character is part of a guild; I wish to represent it and be added to the Community list, how do I go about doing that?
Express your interest via discord message to Isarith or Velasandra and we’ll happily adjust things to your level of interest.
Is this a Kaldorei only group?
No, not at all. There are plenty of other groups that are Kaldorei exclusive, we don’t need to repeat that formula. While we do have quite a lot of Kaldorei characters, that is not the only race represented. We are currently made up of Draenei, Kaldorei, Ren’dorei, Pandarian, Quel’dorei, Shal’dorei, Sin’dorei, Human, Worgen, Tauren, and Troll. This changes fairly regularly as new characters are introduced.
Is this for Alliance only?
No. We have Horde players and people that play both Alliance and Horde character concepts. If you are a member, you’re a member regardless of faction.
Is this Moonguard only?
Yes, for now. We are small in number and local, trying not to lose that homegrown feel.
