Hi all, been on moon guard a while but i want to go to a different server.
Is there any other good allaince rp servers out there that are still active ?

Yep. WRA used to be pretty decently sized on Alliance, but it slowly bled off to MG and there was some kind of big exodus at the tail end of BfA after some guild drama or something that left it basically empty. Might as well play on Kirin Tor at this point.

The drama was all the stuff that was happening at Blizzard at that time. A lot of people got frustrated with Blizzard on that server and pretty much left for FF XIV or other MMOs. Those on the Alliance that stuck around eventually mostly moved to MG. As for the Horde on that server its slimed down some sadly.

Wasn’t that like 10 months into Shadowlands?
Shadowlands sucked for everyone, but I think for people that loved WoW’s story, it was kinda a last straw. Imagine ruining your franchise’s most popular villain because you can’t come up with compelling lore of your own.
I’m on Sentinels which feels like a dead server sometimes, but this expansion I’ve noticed the server cluster grew quite a lot. I still wish they’d combine the RP servers more, though. The auction house here is terrible.

Your argument is solid in general, however with WoW specifically it wasn’t for lack of other ideas it was petty hatred and spite between the devs. Sylvanas was being used as a weapon by a dev to hurt another.
Yes it’s that stupid. Somebody sabotaged the game and story just to try and hurt someone in real life.

If you’re that desperate for a different RP experience you could try argent dawn EU if you dislike moonguards culture that much and want to still RP on Alliance this is your best bet for something different while still being able to have easy access to RP.

It’s a petty sordid story and not really worth pursuing. A fair amount of it was just plain old misogyny by the folks in the “Cosby Room”.
