I ask people pretty often if they think that RP servers will be in Classic WoW and I really think they will be! (or at least I really hope they will.) Other people, in most cases with me at least, say otherwise for some reason.
I wont say what other people have said in argument to stating there wont be any, mostly cos I don’t remember what they said, but I realized I hadn’t taken the topic to the forums!
So, despite knowing this has been a topic here before, Do you think there will be RP servers in Classic WoW? I think there will be, since Classic WoW had plenty of RP servers, like Cenarion Circle, Feathermoon, Silver Hand, Argent Dawn, and Earthen Ring, just to name the first ones that came, according to wowwiki.
So, does anyone else think there’s gonna be RP servers!?
(P.S. I actually have some video tapes of me RPing in BC because I couldn’t afford recording software. Just a little fun fact about me.)
There will be at least 1 RP server at launch. Blizz historically doesn’t enforce most of their rules for RP servers, if they even have them anymore. But blizz knows that a decent number of people in WoW are RPers.
Just look at how they treat RP servers in modern WoW. RP servers don’t get cross-realm zones like normal servers. Sharding sure, but not CRZ. I would be very, very surprised if RP servers weren’t added to Classic.
Absolutely. I trust that even if there are not, those of us who sincerely wish to roleplay would create unofficial realms for RP-PvE and RP-PvP. However, one of the keys to them being official is the more stringent enforcement of things like naming and chat rules.
I would suggest that you take it to a place to have it converted, but lesser known secret is that when they convert your video, they’ll skim-watch it to check for errors and quality. So they’ll def see your Tauren/BE RP.
