Hi I’ ma Long time Vet of the Game but have never really considered going into an RP Server. I will probably stick to my Main server of Aerie Peak But want something fun to do every now and then. I know Moongaurd and Wyrmrest Accord are the Top Dog of RP Servers But I am wondering about the others. Alliance and Horde both. Don’t mind either way I have Plenty of Options. So I would love to hear of the other RP Servers.
It’s pretty much just those two these days.
Moon Guard if you’re Alliance.
Wyrmrest if you’re Horde.
Moon Guard does have a growing Horde population, so if you’re interested in playing Horde and getting involved in a growing community, it’s a good choice. Wyrmrest’s Alliance scene has sadly died out, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it either.

Ah… Really? I was looking around and Emerald Dream seems to be alright… Apparently.
Emerald Dream was very balanced when I played there and there quite a few cool guilds on both sides. I am not sure of its state now, it has been a few years.
edit: RP guilds that is, there were plenty of just PvE and PvP guilds as well.

There really aren’t any others anymore.
The RP there started to slowly die once PvP servers were removed and they created Warmode. It killed the RP-PvP.

Ah… OK. It was the top end PvP Server. got it.
Sad to hear the state of ED. That was my home from Cata all the way to Legion, for all the good and the bad

Man has it gotten that bad? The guilds, at least RP ones were very dedicated.

I remember a lot of guilds leaning pretty heavy into the PvP side of RP, so with that being gone I can’t imagine many lasted much longer
Would’ve loved to have been there to see Warsong Battalion collapse in on itself, though

Orly? Because Wyrmrest turned a little toxic. Even has a guild there who seems to enjoy displaying male chauvinism.
Not saying they’re all like that, but for some I know it left a bitter taste and they don’t want to go back. So I’ve got a few I know that I can send that way.
I have to agree. I was on Emerald Dream for years and years but over time it just started to die out. It was actually before the PVP got removed and was replaced with Warmode but that definitely made the realm kick the bucket.
It felt so empty in SW all the time so I just moved all of my characters to Moon Guard and it was like my heart went aglow with the warmth of seeing so many people again and active role-players at that. I got so used to the emptiness.
Ever since then, Moon Guard’s been my home.

I’d personally say roll a character on both MG and WRA and just kinda hang around for a little bit to see which ones (or if both) meet your needs.
I’m of course team MG, but I still think its a good idea to test the waters first to see where you want to invest your time.

Also Blizz, please remove CRZ / Warmode / sharding etc from Emerald Dream. Please bring back proper RPPvP servers.

On ED I honestly remember Clan Battlehammer fondly.
Another vote for MG. Horde is growing, and Alliance is delightfully chaotic.

Don’t bother with Wrymcrest, especially on horde. It’s dead and you’ll be stuck there unless you get realm transfer.
