I’ve only done a few of those types of objective based RP/wpvp events, but it’s a blast! Gonna be a massive letdown if there’s no RPPVP server at launch

RP-PvP would be my 1st choice as well. And lore-wise, it’d make more sense than RP-PvE

If people who want RP-PvP roll on a PvP server Blizz has no feedback on tyhe true desire for RP-PvP, but if we all roll on a RP server and always flag for PvP then we can show them measurable feedback.

This I see is not considered a lot but here is why I want a RP-PvP server.
Because I am rolling RP-PvE. If they don’t have the RP-PvP server at launch, those who would have rolled on it are going to go to two different places. Some will go to the PvP server that is unofficially chosen to be the RP-PvP server, and the others will go to the RP-PvE server. This is not itself a problem by any means.
The problem comes 4-6 months down the line if Blizzard then does put in the RP-PvP server, and our realm loses a chunk of its population to the fresh RP-PvP realm. I’d prefer that didn’t happen.
Also, and I’m sure this has been brought up, there are literally twice or three times as many guilds recruiting that want to go on an RP-PvP server, than want to roll specifically RP-PvE. Check every place guilds are recruiting.

I have a group a friends who are excited about Classic, and because of our experiences playing Pathfinder together, we love the RP aspects of games. And world PvP also plays an important part of the game in terms of world lore. I am afraid that if we don’t have an RP-PvP server on launch, we won’t end up all playing together, as some of us place higher value on the RP and others on the PvP.
