Rp Poses [Collections] Tab and Options

I was thinking since Emotes don’t entirely allow you to change your stance like in other games, I would like to suggest the idea of making a Tab in the [Collections] category in game that would allow us to earn unique poses, these poses would be static and or active similar to how some Toys put us in poses.

We would be able to collect these poses as drops for content and have a wide collection for Role Play uses and a means to add some fun minor content to the game.

This idea came to me while observing some of the new NPC’s having that cool wall lean pose and I figured, we have the room in that [Collections] category it might be real fun.

To add a little further to it (since for some reason it won’t let me edit)
The tab would include different pose icons that you could then click on and it would place you in that pose. If it is possible, maybe also a command to that specific pose so you don’t have to have the [collection] category open or you can drag and drop the poses into action bars.

You know, this is actually a pretty good idea.

Considering blizzard has ripped a lot from FFXIV, I would also quite like static poses. There’s those human poses with their hands on their hips and them leaning on walls and all that. We should have those.

It amazes me that as an MMORPG we haven’t improved on even this most basic of things for RP in YEARS. Half our emotes don’t even have animation to them… and the player characters basically stand around staring at each other or weirdly looking around like an ADHD hamster when idle… it makes for weird interactions in RP.

Blizzard knows that walking around with your massive weapon casually balanced on your shoulder is badass. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have made it a feature of the brewmaster artifact weapon.

Well, Legion was a long time ago. It’s time to learn to share, monks.

Just casually walking around with the Scythe of the Unmaker slung over his shoulder

Reminds me of the mods for skyrim where you had to do all sorts of set up just to tell the games skeleton to sync up with the animations. I forget the word for it but it was an application you had to run before it worked in game.

So much extra work just so you could emote lol

Static poses but an option of them > idle animation cycle.

But of course: options >>>>>>> any one

I can use a hula hoop in Old Republic as a pose. I want this in WoW.

And you can earn some /emotes in GW2 for doing meta achievements. Not the same as poses, but it’s still a cool thing to collect there.

Fore’s new idle, remembering which patches to apply was always such a pain lol

Yeah I remember needing to set that up because I had a flight mod in Skyrim. And I had to use that other thing just so the posing could happen. Otherwise my character would just be A Posing.

I’m terrible at explaining it because I barely understand it. I just learned “Okay download that. Set it up. Select mods. Push button. Done” lol

I like that idea.

I would also like to see that our characters use different dance routines. Use a routine from another race or buy another completely new from the trader.
