Hang in there friend. My guild and I plan on working diligently to keep people off Grob who don’t follow the ruleset. You’d think it would be a no-brainer to not role on an RP server if you aren’t going to RP, but the forum seems to be full of dead bulbs who can’t seem to figure out the very simple puzzle of picking the server that aligns with their playstyle.
We plan to come up with some methodologies for reaching out to people to get them to engage in role play before reporting to Blizzard.
This is the genius ^^^^ who wants to report people for not staying in character 24/7. “we plan on coming up with methodologies before we report people”… what a tool. He wants to hall monitor RP on Grobb.
The fact that you can’t figure out the incredibly simple Role Play Server is for Role Players concept speaks volumes my friend. If you want to cry because people want to enforce the server rules on a server you are choosing to roll on, I’m not going to feel bad for you. Anyone that chooses to roll on grob knows it’s the ONLY RPPVP realm, and that RPPVP != PVP. There are other server types for people who just want PVP.
Hey everyone, this guy ^^^^ wants to drive RP and PvP away from Grobb. He just wants his elite RP. He openly states he will be reporting. I guess he really wants a quiet peaceful realm, whatcha think?
Report and move on.
It will be quite and peaceful, free from the people whose limited level of maturity and reasoning skills led them to the false conclusion that RPPVP realms are just another name for PVP realms. It’s going to be a tough lesson, but they’re going to get through it and hopefully read tooltips more carefully next time.
We’ll also hopefully get rid of the people who think RPers wanting RP on an RP Realm are elitists. We RPers have to deal with a lot of crazy things like small children running naked through the streets of stormwind on a level 1 human paladin, but this is honestly a new level of childish ignorance I’ve never seen before.
ya, just wanted to make sure everyone knows who this guy is and what he is trying to do. I will stop now. He is exposed. He is depopulating the server. I am sure its going to make other role players happy with his playstyle.
Yes, role players will be happy that the server is being kept of people who aren’t going to role play. That is why we are on the realm. It is a role play realm. For role playing. Do you get it yet? 
i plan on doing some pvp after phase 2 comes out on BB and BGs

Bloodsail Buccaneers isn’t going to be my main server for Classic, but I still want to see how I would do with the roleplaying 1 - 60 classic style.

HAHAHA You think grob is an RP server? This is the ED realm. There will be 6 PVPers sitting in an inn somewhere, and 2994 PVPers corpse camping the bridge. RPPVP doesn’t actuallly mean anything. It’s just a PVP realm.

So that’s a thing about the hesitation. I’ve been on RP-PvP servers and the PvP’s great, but the RP is suffocated. I don’t have any delusions about either server being a roleplayer’s utopia but I also don’t want to sign up if RP is going to be guild bound.

You’re taking the forums to be a majority, and that’s almost always a mistake. The guy you quoted below me is probably looking for a reaction; trolls know that RPers are easy to get those from.
Your past experiences on RP-PvP shouldn’t be ignored, but ultimately only time will tell, and you will need to decide how important PvP and RP are to you.
If RP is more important by far, then PvE RP might be best for you, but I have faith in the Grobb RP community to create places where it’s not suffocated.
