Rp Idea would appreciate input

Any lore buffs out there that can help me out? So my warband is scarlet crusade themed. However, my favorite classes happen to be polar opposites of each other I currently play a paladin, a priest, a deathknight, and a warlock. I am trying so hard to justify them working together.
My head cannon is, long story short: that they were once elite members of the scarlet onslaught in northrend. This is the only way I can see the warlock and the deathknight working together with my paladin and priest in the scarlet crusade. Anyone know how i can expand on this more if that’s even possible lore wise? Trying to think of a reason as to why they would still be part of the scarlet onslaught after finding out they were all betrayed by Mal’Ganis who was possesing admiral westwind.
As far as i know and correct me if i am wrong but the deathknights in the scarlet onslaught were voluntarily turned into deathknight’s and warlocks were allowed into their ranks as well. I’m hoping there could be some cool RP potential there as maybe they all somehow became close with each other (paladin, priest, deathknight and warlock) during their time in Northrend. I’m trying hard to think of a reason why they may decided to help defend Azeroth up to the current expansion. My head cannon is that a bit of their zealotry remains so they only allow humans elves and dwarves into their ranks like the original scarlet crusade did. Anyway sorry for the long post. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hope this all makes some sense.

Just some general prompts/ideas that pop into my mind as I read this.

Could have them be part of a radical faction that is willing do anything, use any means, to achieve their goals.

It’s also possible that they were all old friends/companions… yet when one of them fell, Death Knight, another, Warlock, had a crisis of faith and turned to the darker powers to gain the strength to make sure they don’t lose anyone else.

Love it! Thank you! Trying to come up with more backstory for this lol and trying to make sure its still lore friendly and realistic.

This doesn’t really fit the established canon but since you can select normal skin tones for a void elf and their glowing blue eyes don’t look that different than a normal elves I just RP mine as a high elf frost battlemage. Since priests who learn weapons and armor can become paladins I don’t think it’s that strange for a frost mage to do something similar. It’s really easy to build a viable frost DK avoiding the explicitly undead talents and appearance wise she looks the same as a living elf so I just pretend she is one.

For the warlock I would make them someone who, when they were apart of the crusade, discovered that Saidan was actually Balnazzar in disguise and so they secretly researched everything they could about binding/expelling demons to thwart him and eventually became a demonology warlock. Even though it’s semi-heretical they continue to develop their abilities to ensure they’re never deceived and manipulated again.
