RP Help Requested - RP Prayers to the Light(Paladin edition)

I’ve started playing on a Classic WoW RP server as a paladin, and I’ve decided to do nightly RP events at the Cathedral of Light where I lead a short prayer to the Light.
I’m not doing a sermon as that’s the job of the priests, but I’m curious if there’s any in game lore books I can read to take inspiration from, or if there’s anything on a Wiki that I haven’t found yet.

This is the first bare bones prayer that I’ve come up with:

Light, please guide us all on the true path.
Let us not forget those that walked before us
Nor let us block the path of those to come.
Help us overcome our challenges and help us guide those that are faltering back to the path of rigteousness.
Let not any of us stray from the path, lest we fall to the shadow.
Grant us the courage to face our fears and the wisdom to see goodness within even the darkest of hearts.
Blessed be all in the glory of the Light
Amen

Ideally, I want to have a few prayers that I can rotate through to stop things from getting stale for both myself and anyone who actually attends my RP events.

Any help would be appreciated.

There was a similar thread around here some time ago…

There wasn’t much there and I’m afraid there isn’t much more to be found since then.

If you’re willing I can offer some advice for writing more custom prayers. Having prayers that focus on particular aspects of the faith, such as the various individual virtues promoted by the Light, or those meant to address specific situations, should help keep things varied. It’s not much but it’s better than nothing.

I found that one through the googles, necroing it seemed less prudent than making a new one. Two years is a long time.
