[RP] First Light - Waking the Dawn

=Our Culture=

+ You Are Not a Number +

Despite the size of our guild, First Light is organized in a cascading structure of Branches, Chapters, Sects, and Teams that are all built upon one another. At every level of our structure and leadership, a single principle prevails: to know, welcome, and proactively seek the well being of every member in your extended sphere. We are a guild that is built on inclusiveness and solidarity -- if you become a member of First Light, we will ask you to embrace this aspect of our culture above any other. Members of First Light look out for one another, whether it is offering advice on one of our raid teams, dealing with issues in World PvP, or making sure that each and every member feels engaged and included in our ever-unfolding narrative.

+ Friendly, Open, Honest +

Our members will always be safe in our community. Every member is expected to adhere to our publicly posted code of conduct, which prohibits actions that degrade the positive environment that we insist on preserving. First Light is explicitly LGBT friendly. We forbid any form of sexism, racism, or descrimination on the basis of religion and politics. Members are expected to extend their respect to the entire Moon Guard community -- to never engage in trolling or willfully encouraging drama inside or outside of our ranks. Our rules exist to assure that no one is ever subjected to discomfort for their image and identity, and that distasteful online behaviors are never seen here. It is exceedingly rare that we are ever forced to address a violation, but we do so swiftly and impartially when they arise.

+ Your Ideas Matter! +

Despite being around for over a decade, First Light remains an ever-changing and evolving group. We are always welcoming of suggestions, feedback, and offers to become more involved with the orchestration of the guild.. Beyond its theme and culture, few things within First Light are unchangeable. They are left intentionally transmutable, because we have learned that success has one essential ingredient: you. The newcomer. You must be free to make your own marks and find your initiative rewarded -- to aid in shaping the collective future that we are building together in this community. If you become one of us, do not ever hesitate to put your ideas and suggestions out there. We value them.
