[RP Event] Caravan Trade Mission

A parchment is nailed on the posting board in Orgrimmar. It looks different only in that it is darker than the others, the harsh sun of Durotar has yet to bleach it. If you happen to peruse the fliers once and a while, then you might discover…

The trading post in Duskwood has exceeded expectations. Establishing profitable business with the Alliance while in this time of peace has become more tangible after the interactions we’ve had with the various peoples in that dark forest. The governments will soon establish a standard for such trade, so this great opportunity to lay the foundations first is not going to last much longer.

To that end the exploratory trade mission continues its aim to establish a trading post for future endeavors of exchange. If you are a tradesperson looking to expand into a new market, then use the information at the bottom of this notice to arrange for space on our caravan. More protection is always sought after by those of whom might offer their services. Meet us at the barn near Darkshire in the Duskwood. From there we will head north to our final destination, Lakeshire.

If you are an adventurer, explorer, or just looking for conversation while riding in Alliance territory, then you may also reach out to us. The wagons have been prepared and the security is in place. The date is set for the tenth day of the new year, we gather at the 18th hour. We hope you decide to tag along. The larger the caravan, the more impressive it will be to the locals and the greater chance for success.

Respect, Tenacity, Power

The bottom of the parchment has the promised contact information.

OOC

If you’re new to Roleplay and still a little hesitant about random RP or even joining a guild, come and get a feel for some of it without expectations from others. All you have to do is walk, watch, and comfortably talk.

When & Where will this take place?
Wednesday January 10th at 6:00pm server. The barn is just south of the town square, there will be tents up and a fire going.

What are we doing exactly?
This is a caravan RP event going to the new trading post in Lakeshire. There might be a D20 aspect to it, but only if certain player decisions occur. I’ll give the discord link to those that show up on the day. It’s where the illustrations and some other info wil be to enhance the event.

How long will it take?
Around 2 hours, but I’ll be around after for casual RP too. Contact me here or in game if you’re interested in being a vendor, passenger, defender, or any combination.

I will be there for sure! Got to decide which character to bring now though.

Nos watches as the Goblin van-workers erect the tents for the final time at this temporary trading post near Darkshire. The fog which clings to the woods add to the creepy feel of thr dark forest. For being so far away from his home in Tirisfal, the Duskwood feels close enough.

We shouldn’t trust this Forsaken caravan. A priest working under me went along with these people and never came back.

They claim they preemptively put a stop to bandits, but no arrests were made. Are we fine with Horde murdering people absent Alliance justice? Were they really bandits?

Duskwood has a massive graveyard and Forsaken need body parts. Is there something else they are here for?

Three more nights until this little exploratory trade mission goes on its final run to its last stop. We have made many friends and trade partners along the way, but also a few enemies which desire our failure.

Other and more amazing organizations will come in due Time, because even though this Forsaken is a little Lost, there will always be interest in a well ran Caravan.

This looks exciting. I’ll try my best to attend. I don’t know which character yet as im new to WRA. I would like to try and be a passenger, unless you reccomend just hanging out since I’m new.

Passenger is perfectly fine. One person coming is going to have some vendor items to sell. If you don’t have TRP extended then it can just be imaginary like most things.

In three hours the monsters move their calamities to another region of our righteous kingdom.

This was a lot of fun, and thanks to Nos for hosting it. Great seeing Open World RP surge to the forefront, and seeing folks pitch in to establishing some cool storylines as well.
