Announcing the Annual Armistice Day Ball
The Anytime, Anywhere Messenger Service is pleased to announce we will be holding this year’s Armistice Day Ball at the Shrine of Fellowship in Jade Forest.
Please join us in once again honoring a day of peace as we commemorate the Battle of Mt. Hyjal. All of our clientele are invited to attend.
Formal dress is recommended, and as always, we request that all attendees leave their disputes at home.

We are once again hosting our server wide ball! Even with the hostilities…
One major difference this year is that we are encouraging attendees to try out an addon:
Cross-RP (https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/cross-rp)
The AAMS has been using it to great success when our different branches get together to RP. Simply put, it allows both factions to communicate using the regular /say and /em commands. It's already been used in other large RP events on other servers.
The addon does require belonging to a Cross-RP enabled Battlenet community, and we’ve set one up here for everyone to use:

Kezrin crept up the stairs and toward the manager's offices. So far no one had noticed her... or so she thought. Derscha stood at the top, peering down at her... something Kezrin really wasn't used to from a gnome.
"Just what do you think you're doing, Miss Kanzelry?"
"Getting somethin' from my office?"
"Hmm-hmm. As long as it's not anything work related. You are on leave. Let Adassos and Miss Sara'hel handle things."
"They've never put together a ball before-"
"And neither had you, at one point. Now stop before I change my mind and make you attend the ball."
Kezrin sighed and let the gnome accompany her to the Horde manager's office and made a show of grabbing a book she'd left on a shelf a few weeks before.
Being on leave was boring, but she still wasn't going to risk having to socialize.

((Once again I will be streaming music during the ball! Expect 80s/90s pop/top 40/dance hits, with maybe some extra bits added in for flavor. I've slightly upgraded my server software, so you should no longer have to use a program like Winamp or iTunes to listen. Starting around 6 or 6:30 server time, simply visit one of the two following URLs to open up a music player embedded in the page!

I admit to being curious - Pandaria (Jade Forest in particular) is notorious for having phasing issues. Has this possibility been tested? Not everyone has completely gone through MoP content (and now that 80-90 can be done entirely in Cata content, some choose not to).

We held the Armistice Ball at this location in 2013 (yikes time flies) with no problems with phasing issues. We test locations with a mix of lowbies and high level players.
If anything, I’m more concerned about sharding! crosses fingers

Both Factions:
Take the Portal to Vale of Eternal Blossoms from Legion Dalaran.
Horde:
Portal to Jade Forest in the Valley of Honor in Orgimmar
Alliance:
Portal to Jade Forest in by the lake in Stormwind
Low levels:
We’ll have mages and warlocks available to help transport those who need help!
How to Get to the Shrine of Fellowship:
Closest Flight Point is Tian Monastery.
From there, head southwest toward Grookin Hill
The Shrine is on top the hills next to Thunderpaw Refuge
Coordinates are 33, 32
There is a footpath up to the top but assistance can be provided.
