Yes you heard me right friend, anyone!!! (/me points at you)
Please respect roleplayers if you do not plan to RP, as they are respecting you!
Failing to adhere to the rules of naming and harassment may result in a report.
All levels of RP are welcome
We can’t wait to see all of you in our new community! This will be a fun new experience for newcomers and old players alike to join in as a community to make a new grand adventure for years to come.
The Community
RP and RP-PVP servers will be lively with a great community for roleplayers and non roleplayers alike! We do not discriminate any types of players. Even people who can’t spell good or have social anxiety that are to afraid to join in to experience roleplay but like to watch others as they respect others around them are welcome! If anyone harasses you we recommend that you report them immediately to a GM and put them on ignore
Thanks, and enjoy Classic from a friendly voice of the community!
Thanks for posting this! A lot of people may have seen the prior gatekeeping post attempting to keep people away from RP-PVP servers, whereas in reality, people are free to play and have fun in the manner of their choosing, provided they follow the rules of the game.
People seem to easily forget that. World of Warcraft is a game that is meant to be relaxing and enjoyable. Stay safe and have fun!
Unfortunately they are the 1% or trolling. Most of the people on the forms that have been saying things like this or trying to gatekeep were recently found out that they were just switching characters and liking themselfs or trying to cause confusion and hate by acting as a new person.
I went Horde For Life a long time ago after my RP guildleader took us there, but this BB Alliance community is so awesome I may have to go back to visit.
I love roleplay. But honestly it will just be something I hop into every now and then. The concept of rolling a main on an rp realm does not sound appealing because I feel if I RP I always have to be in character, and there are times where I just want to chill.
Well I will not have a main on the RP or RP-PVP server but I will hop on them to RP when I’m in the mood as of this moment but you aren’t required to roleplay always. Long as your respect others that are and don’t bother them it’s ok just to run pass and do your thing even if they try to roleplay with you as you’re going pass them. Just respect all and all will be fine!
I have never been on a(n) RP-PVP server, but in the same vein, the Grob community seems so awesome that I’m actually debating giving it a shot! All the posts about adrenaline immersion make sense to me these days.
Seeing as I was playing on an rp in retail, I have no problems rolling on either one. I came to shadow council to play with friends, and it was at least at the time I quit playing a great community. From these forum posts, I’ll probably end up on both Grob and BB. Both communities seem great.
You don’t need to feel like you always need to be in character. I won’t be, and I don’t think most people want to spend 24/7 in character either. Sometimes you might want to run a dungeon or do some PVP, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I roll on RP servers specifically because I find the atmosphere to be laid back and more friendly
