I used TRP 3 in the past, but now I’m considering to switching to alternative addons that are similar. Can I know which RP addon is the best in terms of being the most efficient and forgiving on CPU and RAM/memory ?
TRP has a purge setting to purge profiles you haven’t seen recently. That’s a helpful note. Not sure about MRP.

Im not sure about performance wise, but you could try XRP. It’s got all the important stuff without all the bells and whistles and glitter. If you like that stuff, great! But if you want something more slimmed down, XRP is what I’d recommend.
Try MRP or XRP these are other RP add on for World of Warcraft RP servers.
I used MRP before I took up trp3. MRP, at the time, was a barebones, simple text based character description tab. It does the job, no complaints about it, but trp has more goodies.
A directory for referencing and keeping track of characters, quick reference via mouse over, swappable and shareable profiles for you, your pets, your mounts, name and title change on dialogue texts for others that have an rp addon… these are just awesome!
MRP does the job but trp does it better.

MRP now apparently does everything TRP3 does, according to the author, when I spoke to them last. XRP might now be the lightest.
Not using TRP3 extended may keep things lighter and changing your purge settings may help as well.
It may be a toss up between MRP/TRP in the end if you want bells and whistles.
