Rouge vs duel wield fury warrior

Which would be more fun to level/play at higher levels?

geared fury warriors are A+ tier for dps in raiding.

I love when warriors duel people while wearing makeup.

You can stealth around and assassinate ally in the home city as a rogue.

Warrior
Pros:
Outstanding DPS.
Best tanks if they choose to be.
Easier to level (I get that I’m in the minority on this one)
Cons:
Expect to tank dungeons at the least, even if you don’t prefer it.
Very hard to raid gear for DPS. There is no DPS set gear for warriors.

Rogue
Pros:
Stealth is a lot of fun.
Easier to raid gear, as all your set gear is great.
Lock picking unique profession.
Strong DPS.
Cons:
No AoE damage.
Below average leveling speed.
Can only DPS.

Why do you think warriors are easy to level?

Fury warriors can be powerful killing machines with the right gear…but getting it can be hard if you don’t offtank in raids or have leverage in the loot council because if you don’t have either of those you’ll run into a brick wall as every piece of tier gear is delegated to the multiple tanks first and you have to out roll the Rogues and other deeps for other loot.

In the long run I’d say its easier to gear up a Rogue in raids because you have your own (I’m assuming is) useful tier gear while the Warriors tier gear is more teched out for tanking…which is stupid to me but I never really made it into proper raiding back in the day so I didn’t know what to really expect

Them rouges being so op http://www.darklegacycomics.com/41

um, what? combat swords is great for leveling, there is a clear upgrade path and zero downtime not to mention you can skip the mobs you don’t need to kill by stealthing by them. Between pservers, vanilla retail and Classic WOW this is my 5th vanilla rogue and leveling pace is fine.

I think it’s safe to say mage, hunter, warlock, paladin, shaman, and Druid all have an easier time leveling. I personally think warriors too, because with good rage management and first aid you never really need to stop.

Mage, lock and hunter, yes…paladin absolutely not, lol. I haven’t done a warrior in vanilla but do read about them having a difficult time until they get the axe, as a rogue I only have it rough until level 10 and it’s considerably easier 20+. I never have to stop as a sword rogue leveling, heck I rarely had to bandage or eat.

I have leveled a vanilla shaman and don’t remember it being easier or harder than rogue and with druids I have no clue because I’ve never at any point played one.

I disagree. I have made every class and race. I ALWAYS have an easier time as a Rogue when I quest alone. That stealth is for real.

I feel like a warrior would look great in rouge… itll match the blood of their enemies on their armor.

Warriors are easier to level? I’m sorry, this statement disqualifies your opinion from this thread.

When I leveled a warrior to 60 i thought it would be as difficult as everyone said. Once I realized how gear dependent I was I just made sure I farmed dungeons every few levels for the gear I needed.

Obviously it’s better to stick to green quests and mob grinding, but I never have to stop to drink like other classes. Starting every fight with a full rage bar makes it go much faster too.

This warlock is the first time I’ve leveled one and it seemed about on par with warrior speed. Not to mention it took me a lot longer to build/join dungeon groups over how automatic it is for a tank.

Combat swords for leveling is pretty great compared to what fury has access to for talents. Human racial is just icing, and my human rogue feels miles better than my warrior did so far.

Warrior is basically a God when geared at 60 though. Rogues aren’t bad, but don’t keep up. They do have a better floor though because of talents.

If you don’t wana be pressured into tanking every 5 man then go rogue. If you don’t mind tanking so much play warrior.

I think rogues would be funner to play at high levels do to the stealth around the enemy major cities, while warriors for rushing into groups in bg pvp.

Warriors seem funner to level to me, and are probably slightly easier then rogues at the start. Easier to start dungeon groups as a warrior then rogue do to you can tank and dps.

Always play cosmetics if you have a choice.
