Not sure if this happens to any class that can summon a pet but If my pet gets that debuff it never goes away. I leave the zone, try to dismiss and summon pet back again. try healing through it but the only way for the debuff to not be on my pet is for it to die. Not sure if this is intended or not.

Same thing happening for me on warlock pet. Letting the pet die and re-summoning fixed it.

I am having the same issue with my Felguard - dismissing and resummoning DID NOT clear the debuff on the Felguard sadly. I have not tried having someone cleanse it.
Bump to report this bug is still active.
Same issue with warlock felguard. Permanent debuff that does significant damage over time. Resummoning or leaving zones does nothing. Letting him die did fix it though.

I’m glad I saw this post, I kept trying to heal my voidwalker but I’m gonna let it die and see if it fixes. What a weird bug.

Bumping this up again as this is an ongoing issue.
Still an issue; my pet got the debuff when I fought Blisterhide. Dismissing and calling back did not help, but letting the pet die and reviving it removed the debuff. Please fix, Bliz.
Still happening on lock pets. My imp has it and hes not happy.

As of 01/26/2023 yes this is still there on my warlock voidwalker. Permanent rotting creek debuff that slowly kills it. I have tried everything but let it die, so i guess i will try that because that’s the information i was looking for. It’s bad enough my blueberry can’t hold aggro anymore, now it gets sick and can’t recover.

Letting your pet dies how? My voidwalker is “healing” thru leech more than the dots is ticking.
