Rolling Horde - Suggestion on Classes needed end game?

Im going to be rolling on Mankrik Horde TBC. I have no guild or anything like that so I will need a class thats self sufficient. This will be my first character here and I will be leveling from scratch. Im looking for a good endgame 5man/possibly raiding character I will be able to level fairly well with and add something to group content. I dont have the time to play multiple characters.

I was thinking either a Fire mage, Shadow/Holy Priest or Ele/Resto Shaman. Are any of these more or less needed in the current server pop? Any advice would be great.

Healers are generally needed by a lot of startup raid guilds at the moment and there also appears to be a hefty shortage of boomkins and ele shamans as well. Can’t go wrong with either of those areas imho.
