Very curious on how many folks are planning to roll on the new Anathema PvP Pacific server.
Really debating on re-rolling for the 3rd time so that i’m not so far behind everyone.
no because i dont like the server name. The server names sounds like ENEMA
Already moved twice. Not doing this again unless it’s a free transfer when layering ends.
This has become absurd.
I don’t know why they even created MORE servers at this point. The past 2 days there has been plenty of realms stuck at medium population.
I thought their biggest concern was long term server population stability. They have released enough realms where populations are good (and people who want to sit in queue aren’t moving by now anyways).
I have a feeling no one is going to roll again on 2 more new realms when plenty of other realms have medium population that look much more appealing for new players for that healthy population.
Now, it is the weekend, so there is a chance all the existing realms might be queued up so we’ll see.
Considering there are multiple servers now with little to no queue, I don’t see these servers gaining a very large population. I could be wrong though.

every time they add more servers, that’s probably them checking their watches against the amount of people who haven’t quit yet, it’s lower than expected, so they’ll need another realm to transfer players to when layers get removed
The way I see it, you’re going to have a ton of people on these because of the timing, it’s kind of the perfect storm. Labor Day weekend is coming up where the majority of people that didn’t get to play much during last week due to prime time queues are feeling frustrated and left behind so they don’t have much to lose by rolling on a new server and starting fresh.
They’d like to be at least spending one weekend just playing and enjoying the game together with their friends, and as long as their friends had the same experience which I wager many did as this problem struck home the most with people who have jobs and families, it should be no problem starting over and this “binge weekend” is the perfect time to do something like this.
I expect both of these will be high pop servers shortly after launching for the weekend warrior crowd, which is probably a larger chunk of the playerbase then you might imagine. It just appears to be different right now because again, timing. They released when kids weren’t back in school yet, or had started college yet so there was just a massive influx this last week of those that don’t do the 9-5 gig actually getting to play while the workaday world were the ones stuck in queue waiting behind those with no set schedule who could log in whenever and just stay logged in all day and play.
So now, school starts this week and many kids won’t be able to play all day anymore, college (mostly those with semester systems) is in session next week and again, kids will be doing their thing there causing the queue to drop massively, and the weekend warrior crowd (the smart ones) aren’t going to be wanting to spend this, the first long weekend since release, stuck in a queue when there are two new fresh servers to choose from. They’re going to make the move, in my estimation.
These will be busy servers for quite some time due to this weekend establishing them at just the right time.

u mean like all the other pvp realms?
Yeah I thought about this as well. I am assuming that because they “substantially” increased the server cap that it takes a lot more players to move the realms from Medium to high to full but that’s just a guess.

I always play horde. Will try Alliance on this server. Opens 6pm pst, right?
if u missed out on the week or rolled on a full server this is perfect 3 days to play all day
gonna roll a new toon on a new server this weekend because queues are gonna suck
