Roll back the Sha mounts

I initially thought this then I found out it was known in alpha and beta but I never saw a thread on this. Now I think the people who were in alpha and beta who first thing after they made an evoker went and got these mounts should be banned and permanently banned from getting alpha and beta invites. The purpose of those invites was to report bugs not to find them and not report them so you can take advantage when it was live.

Actually it wasn’t buffed, it was the same drop rate. But the Evoker loot table has only 1 option, so any Evoker has a 50/50 chance to get Gold or an Item from the loot table…Some Evokers didn’t get the mount at all.

We should focus all this energy towards Bad luck protection and proper changes.

How is possible, that I did 7602+ attempts on the Sha (bonus roll included) but just consider the amount of time waiting for a respawn that only supports like 1 hit… there’s not good gameplay and the respawn time should had been changed since a long time ago from 15-20mins to 5max, stop wasting players time.

Just check other example as Soundless with low % and a 7-8 respwan, It’s not like TLPD that’s 100% drop…

Cosmetics just became a big slot machine for the players with more alts

the game should prioritize FUN first, At least for me, Let them keep the mount, I’m not that kind of collector that cries about being “unique”…etc, I care about my own mounts and not other players collections.

I would just send one of each to everyone and call it a launch gift.

This. Only just woken up, and didn’t even notice the bug.

You got to be joking if you think Blizzard will do anything about this lol. They will just push it under the rug let alone roll back the mounts. Blizzard in the end is a business company and they need money…Rolling back these things will make people who exploited the bug leave the game and cost blizzard a loss.

People made their decision to spend hours, tens or hundreds of hours farming a +1 instead of waiting for it to become easier. :dracthyr_love_animated: Hopefully they increase the drop rate drastically like they said they’d consider with the rocket but also haven’t.

people who got this for no effort aren’t going to leave the game because they got caught.

Take them away and give them an account suspension for violating the TOS and exploiting a bug. This comment makes you mad too bad, read the ToS.

people who got the bug and free mount: nice / cry about it i guess
people who missed out on the bug and free mount: NO THIS ISNT FAIR I DIDNT GET TO ABUSE IT NO REMOVE IT NOW.
(i didnt get the mount / know of the bug) who cares

its just a mount. those people that bugged it will get no enjoyment of the mount they didnt farm for a decade. while those who get it properly will enjoy it

I think a suspension is a bit harsh - but they should definitely remove any Sha mounts that were earned by Dracthyr charcters. Either that or allow everyone the chance to get the mount at the increased %.

I don’t really get why this is debatable. It was an exploit, even if you give people the benefit of the doubt and assume ignorance (and I’m a member of several mount communities and believe me, they knew what they were doing)

Just give them to everyone. “Sorry we screwed up, here’s one for everyone”

Then by the time we get out of DL, everyone won’t care because they haven’t been using them for 2 years anyway.

I didn’t even know that was a thing. If people knew about that and kept quiet to get theirs then that’s extra bad…

Agreed, the ill-gotten mounts should be removed. It’s not fair to the community to allow things obtained via an exploit to be kept, regardless of who’s “at fault”.

I can confirm this is the case. There’s people cackling about it in Discords, talking about how the “normies” missed out and showing screenshots of them getting 1 Nalak mount from the first kill and a 2nd one from a bonus roll.

I don’t think blizzard will do anything at all but it’s still exploiting a bug and that is still cheating and this usually results in an account ban. You also said they were all aware of what they were doing so again it’s cheating but I doubt anything will happen.

The more I look into what happened the more the really sucks. And I’m highly confused that they fixed it and didn’t take mounts away when people were clearly rolling multiple toons to get this? For people doing duplicates I bet they will break ToS and sell it cause they’d make a lot. Sort of like when a bunch of TCG stuff could get duplicated.

Either roll it back, or improve the drop rate for everyone else
Anything less than 1% is just ridiculous period.

Just make every mount a 100% drop rate. GMOD and Invincible are the only rare ones that even look good and are worth farming imho.

I mean plenty of older mounts still look good, but I have to say after farming those world bosses since MoP when they were released…the drop rate is horrible. And I have lots of other friends that have farmed since MoP with multiple toons every single week as well lining them up and waiting for spawns. It feels really crappy that of ALLLL of the current bugs and issues in the game, they jump to remove that as fast as possible.

Like I have reported bugs on professions being broken, ui issues, and some quests and other content that can have a character fully stuck from any progression. And they don’t have work arounds for it or any fix in sight. But a mount that could make thousands of people super happy? Fix it right away.
