So what if those guys also had HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of attempts and didn’t get it? They should continue wasting their time?
yes. (10 chars)
If they aren’t going to rollback on the drops, I think it would be good of Blizzard to at least so a bluepost and adjust the mount to something a big more reasonable. Lots of us including myself have thousands of attempts on those mounts and have farmed since MoP. So no rollback and a silent nerf with no comment after a bunch of people got to exploit it kind of sucks.
The saying goes “you snooze you lose.”
Besides, getting something through an exploit is cheating. You should earn your rewards, not cheat your way to them.
Imagine putting the effort to make “HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of attempts” just to finally achieve your goal and knowing it was only due to an exploit. They’d do them a favor by rolling this back at this point.
wait, did the Sha of Anger have his mount drop at 100%? dangit i was focused on the event invasions.
Honestly, I don’t think a lot of them would care. Because with you put in thousands of attempts and finally get it. You really don’t want to go back. Mount farmers don’t enjoy farming for that long, but we do it if we really like the mount.
Can anyone confirm or deny that the mount is still dropping like wild?
It was fixed really fast. No comments from Blizz and no rollbacks to people who jumped on the boss train. Also only Evokers were getting it.
Typical Blizzard, hahaha. Grats to the lucky few!
You can discern possible intent by tracking rates of mounts created by comparing to social media.
When some says hey man mounts are bugged for evokers better hurry. And then you see hundreds are made within the hour after that. Or hell even people running evokers for the mounts on two or more servers (because they were unlucky even with the high chance). Then you can discern intent. Some people probably even deleted their evokers with the unlearned mounts to weather through hypothetical rollbacks.
As someone who doesn’t have a single MoP boss mount:
doesn’t bother me any. I’m not a cheater.
They need to roll back the mount asap. I know I wont be farming it anymore if they stay in. And anyone riding one Ill just think they’re a cheat.
I’m sure they’ll be devastated.
It shouldn’t be difficult for them to simply remove every sha mount obtained by evokers during that period, the question is will they.
Honestly I’d be fine with this. Let’s go with this.
Intent to exploit or not, it should be rolled back for any evoker that looted it.
This.
I don’t know the details on this, but it sounds like Blizzard just needs to make these things the WoW 18th anniversary reward and mail them to everybody. There is no way to tell who just got super lucky on their first try and those that have been working at it for years and got it due to the bug or whatever.
