it would be super helpful to have role based discussion channels in the forums:
tank
heals
dps

That would be nice, particularly when there’s a harder to understand/deal with mechanic on a raid boss or in a dungeon, be nice to see someone explain it in the forums.
Why? You have players who do all 3 roles. You want them posting 3 times?
That seems reasonable, we have class-specific channels, I don’t see a role-specific channel discussing specifically tanking, healing, or dpsing topics, issue, or oversight as being a bad idea.
Why would someone post three times just cuz they play all 3?
Post in the tanking forum.
Post in the healing forum.
Post in the dps forum.
There used to be role forums. They removed them. They told us they were being removed because they didn’t want to get feedback from them.
But, the topics would be (ideally) curated to be relevant to the role. Discussing specific tanking challenges wouldn’t be necessarily relevant for DPS forums.
There were these channels years ago. They were removed with the Forum revamp.
