Rogues are not far off from being in a very good spot but fixing the Rogue general tree is step one. I feel that the Rogue rework in the middle of DF did a good job of reworking the Rogue general tree which was a step forward. For example, double feint charge talent, improved sprint talent, etc.
But the changes in the TWW alpha seems to be a step back for the Rogue general tree. I believe that changing Shadow Dance to two charges of Vanish is a step forward in the long run but the change to the duration of Subterfuge to counteract the loss of Shadow Dance may be hard to balance.
Acrobatic Strikes as currently presented on the TWW alpha is incredibly weak and really another ramp up mechanics with little payoff is not good at all.
Thistle Tea should have the mastery bonus removed and change it to energy over time so that way it would be more attractive to all builds and specs to use.
I am not sure why Leeching Poison even exists at this point because if you are trying to do a non stealth oriented build it is incredibly weak. Soothing Darkness and Shadow Heart are just miles better in stealth oriented builds.
Cold blood as it currently exists is very weak compared to what other classes have in current retail. Cold Blood was designed and balanced just fine for the Burning Crusade era where you you would shadow step, CB, Eviscerate into a target. Currently it is very weak.
Making Subterfuge 2 points doesn’t make sense in the grand scheme of things because why would you ever put 1 point into Subterfuge when baseline Vanish has lost immunity duration in TWW alpha???
