How come this doesnt do any damage to your opponent? Same with with all the other melee interrupts. Especially the monk’s spear hand thrust. That has to hurt alot!

It’s a flavor thing
Because there kick isn’t really a kick. It is more of “shove a sock in it”.

I think of it more like a flat tire.
You know, when someone accidentally steps on the heel of your shoe and makes you stop what youre saying and look at them with that “why?” look.

Kick used to do damage. And it could crit! It was removed because who knows, but interrupts don’t do damage anymore. The only reason I can think of is because it was misleading inexperienced players and was being used incorrectly.

I’d love to have the defias npc kick where it knocks ppl onto their butts!
Why would it? Its a light kick to disrupt an action, not a kick with a nail boot.
I think of it as a swift kick to the stomach, to knock the wind out of the target.
If it did damage it would probably be a roundhouse kick to the temple or something lol

the animation for kick does not show any sock being thrown at the person.

Well you are telling me to put a sock in it, I imagine playing a video game where a character throws a sock in someone’s mouth to interrupt their “spell”.
