I also saw that there is a BWL spec where you swap some points into imp backstab and use a dagger on Vael.
Im going to try that next week.

Indeed, any slow dagger will do just fine too. If you can get perdition or gut Gore or lobotimzer those are ideal and will give you the edge you’re wanting.
Whoever invented this parsing crap needs to be clubbed.

parsing for vanilla is kinda silly when the real problem is survivability and not how well you dps, but I do understand that some players get bored and min/max because they already mastered mechanics and resistance gear
I have lobotomizer for the Vael fight.
I just think the parsing numbers are interesting for my own personal fun.
I like to look at the numbers and improve and everything.
I think it can be fun.
Its interesting the little things you can do to increase your numbers.
Seems like running around collecting the dire maul buffs and flowers or whatever other buffs there are just for every raid is kinda lame, but what else is there to do I suppose

Yes, definitely pre pot a gfpp - but also stack FR
Our team runs a lot of log analysis and have found at our current state that stacking high FR with a gfpp is optimal. One rogue uses a blazing charm on this as well to stack with his CDs
