Rogues and Druids rolling on Strength weapons

So, this has happened to me twice already. And yes it was on a guild run. I guess they don’t know their primary stat is agility. I just hope they figure it out soon. I just let it go and move on so far. But did discuss it with the Guild leader today. So, that’s the last time it is going to go by.
I can understand if they don’t know but, they should be prioritizing their primary stat. Do some research guys.

Combat swords is the rogue leveling spec. If the sword is an upgrade, I’m rolling on it. Since lots of swords have strength, you are gonna have competition. Sorry.

I recognize that AGI is the primary stat for Druids, but if you create a Druid and look at the stats it very clearly indicates that STR does contribute to a Druid.

I don’t know the specifics of your scenario and do not care, but do create a Druid (in Classic!) and you will see what i am talking about.

So are you promising warriors wont be rolling on agility and leather gear if we leave your str stuff alone? Cuz i find thst hard to believe

Str gives attack power for rogues

If it’s dps is higher than what they have it’s going to be a pretty sizeable upgrade

Druids get 2 ap from str in both cat and bear. Its better than agility.

Does STR not contribute to the damage of Cat/Bear form?

Strength is very good for both rogues and feral druids, though. Also the stats on a weapon matter waaaaaay less than its damage for rogues, as well as warriors too. Druids only care about the stats though

Strength is an extremely valuable stat for catform druids, actually.

I won’t roll against you, because I’m a bear druid by preference and so I have very little use for it. But that doesn’t mean every feral druid should feel obligated to do the same thing.

If a druid rolls against you for a “proc on hit” weapon, then you can accurately say they rolled for something they have no use for.

It’s not really a big deal while leveling up unless (IMO) you’re making a twink. Could be considered rude and if it bothers you just put the person on ignore instead of coming to the forums. At endgame this is a different story.

But I have to be strong like bear :frowning:

I can’t promise what anyone else will do, but if you research your class you will learn something. I have been playing this game since BC and I have done a lot of research on classes, take the time. It’ll be worth it in the long run.

First off, the weapon dps and speed are the main factors for weapons and the stats don’t matter too much. The exception is caster weapons.
Second, Druids get the same benefit from Strength as Warriors, so they should roll on it.

You have no actual argument.

If you played in BC then you’ll remember druids using strength items as Feral, it was the same in Vanilla. Whatever “guides” you’re reading are inaccurate and should be tossed.

And i know for a fact that str gives ap to rogues. And weapon dps is king.
Furtgermore several bis for warriors, even in bc was leather.

Cant tell you how many times they took leather from my rogue.

BC is not Vanilla.

Yes.

In WotLK, they moved all feral druids to wanting Agility for simplification. And moved enhancement shaman from Strength to Agility for simplification. It’s one of the many ways they wrecked the game in WotLK.

This is Classic. Cats want Strength. If you were Horde you wouldn’t have a case that the enhancement shaman did you wrong by rolling against you for that two-handed Strength axe either. Get used to it.

Heart of the Wild Rank 5

Requires Druid (Feral Combat)

Increases your Intellect by 20%. In addition, while in Bear or Dire Bear Form your Stamina is increased by 20% and while in Cat Form your Strength is increased by 20%.

Strength is actually good for Ferals in Classic.
