Rogue, which button/hotkey do you use for stealth?

I’m currently using X. If my middle mouse "click" button worked I’d use that but unfortunately, it died some time ago.

I have a mouse that has two buttons on the inside left. The button closet to me is used by my thumb to put me into stealth. I have a macro not for the hotkey in the spellbook, but using the stance itself, as to give me on extra button to use on my hotbar.

ctrl F for a /stopattack, /dismount stealth macro. I dont put it on a non-modifier keybind cuz I use em for more combat related buttons

Ditto, something about 'using ‘R’ as a trigger for it feels very natural.

I use this similarly for Shadow Priest’s Shadowform.

I used to be a clicker, so i learned stances/forms/stealth with the default keybind.

Shift+f1? Muscle memory us funny.

I use Ctrl + C.
Not sure why, it’s just been my stealth button forever.

And Shift + V for vanish.

I would advise against using single keybinds for abilities like stealth, best to save those for regularly used abilities / alt targeting capability.

F1 on Rogue.

Alt 2 on druid.

You’d think I’d put stealth on the same button for both, like PVP trinket needs to be the same button on all classes for me, but it’s never been an issue for me.

Tilde for me. I use a 12-button mouse and just got used to tilde for stealth so long ago. It’s also one key I don’t use modifiers for, which is probably less than ideal but it all works for me; often play with the UI dropped as well.

I’m maybe the only one that never macro’d it; I still click it. After reading this, though, I’m considering about putting it to an unused mouse button or the ~, and seeing how I like it.

i have like 5 keybinds for stealth… if you are sub; you should be better at stealth than any other part of the game.
