I’ve been thinking of the tier designs we’ve had since tier 1 and noticed we get kinda the sameish looking sets with a few exceptions. Tier 12,13,21 come to mind. I would love to see a set designed around a rook or raven with black feathers and black shroud mist falling. Something like this, bad omens fit our theme in fact our class mount is a raven. What theme would you all like to see?

The Throne of Thunder set sort of had a raven/crow motif. But like all MoP gear, it looks pretty bad.

The dark phoenix set is my personal favorite set. Bloodfang is a close second. The Geist sets revolving around a hanged, ghoulish look based on the Shadowblade pieces is creepy ind very cool. The old Van Cleef set was a good bird-esque set. Bonescythe set was covered in knives, so, good.
I think the 10.2 death knight set could pretty easily have been a good design for rogues instead.
I’m definitely agreed that some of my favorite pieces have either knives and/or feathers themes. Favorite belts seem to be those with daggers in the buckle, like the Flayed Demonskin Belt. I seem to recall, but cannot find, a Pandaria challenge mode belt that had a sort of looping dragon buckle with a dagger stuck through… that thing was awesome but I never achieved it, and I don’t know what it was called, so I can’t really look it up. Draenor clothies could get some cool purple gear with feathers on, that was cool. Annoying that rogues can’t smog those, esp. the shoulders.
I wasn’t going to go back to Shadowlands for Bastion rep at all, but then I saw they have purple wings as an achievement award, so. Well I mean look at my character, haha.
Anyway, cool gear is definitely one of the things I look forward to. And the xmog system means if any particular piece is uninspiring to me, I can just xmog it.
