Rogue tank rune locked behind rep farm

No, i mean the gold/engineering required for the other vendor one and this one

The vendor is 50-100g to even unlock if you don’t have engineering (depending on server)

Does anyone actually know if those are actually related? One of them seems to be for divine storm. It also can’t be the horde version because there’s no way they’d gate horde meta behind mobs deep in alliance territory. Like it’s just speculation that might be part of it.

Yeah, I can see your point now…

Well, I suppose it will help the Engineering market lol.

I’m still going to go Double Gathering.

as if engineering needed help lol, even if it isn’t that great right now it will be as always

gold cost is whatever… its the time to get the rep that is gunna suck haha

Mostly it just seems that horde haven’t found the comparable mob in horde territory yet, because there’s fewer horde players and fewer of them that focus on exploration. Divine storm seems to have been found by tommy salami, the speed running skips guy who mostly plays alliance.

I agree, I am having issues just getting saber slash, because blizzard said it was a good idea to despawn this npc after pick pocketing and apparently hunters need the same npc for their sniper training.

I love waiting for long periods of time for things to spawn. It’s my favorite.

i mean they seem to be gating Incinerate and Starsurge in Redridge/Wetlands (let alone all the runes on that new vendor in Ratchet needing items from dark iron dwarves in wetlands)

If its like honored i think its a non issue of its exalted thats kind of an issue

Blizzard in a turn of events requiring people to play the game to acquire highly desired in-game abilities.

It’s contrary to their stated goal of making tanks more accessible though, since 2 of the new tanking specs appear to be hard gated behind long quest chains and/or rep grinds.

Tough luck kid. It doesn’t affect accessibility at all. The ones that want to tank will unfortunately have to grind for the runes.

This. It’s understandable if some abilities are gated through a difficult way but to have spec defining abilities locked… especially ones they want us to test is kind of counterproductive.

Not sure you understand. The devs explicitly stated they wanted more tanks to be available during the leveling process, and that was a core reason for adding more tank specs. This doesn’t accomplish what they stated the goals were. It has nothing to do with me personally.

People complaining that they have to play the game to enjoy the new features the game offers

Did y’all want Classic+ or not?

It is even more funny considering it hasn’t even been a week.

Advocating for less tanking is a bad idea.

People have a right to complain about core runes being locked behind a rep grind.

I don’t think any runes should be locked that way, but if they have to be, it should be for non essential runes.

If you literally cannot tank because of a rune locked behind a rep grind, that’s super lame, and needs to be looked at.

I’d post in the feedback section (they actually do read it).

The thought is probably along the lines that since SoD is in phases and 25 isn’t the actual cap that the fact that rogues (or locks or whoever) can’t reliably tank until later phases it’s not really an issue.

I’m not saying that’s good logic, but that was probably their thought in that it’s the long game, not that everyone needs to be 100% viable/accessible at the current max level of 25.

The goal is 100% accomplished, but you have to grind in order to unlock that ability.
