Multiple CE’s on hunter now with pretty good parses I’m happy with where I’m at and think its definitely more than you’ve ever achieved PvE wise and if your distinction is wpvp kills than I think you seriously need to consider what is harder lol.
Your smart mouth doesn’t understand that I made my bones the hard way. Your ivory tower privilege cannot even BEGIN to fathom what BEING WRONG actually FEELS LIKE IN-GAME. WPvP is punishing like that against max-levels. You make enough mistakes and it’s a 5 minute timeout.
They are the best, that which we know in the public domain of YouTube. Any MM that follows that doctrine and succeeds is the best. How convenient you can write that off since you don’t care about PvP.
It’s going to be a tall order coming from MM’s who don’t really make the cut, those who are Gucci handbags like yourself.
But this is the neat part: I’ve done most of the self-reflecting there is to do by now. I don’t need to be told by anyone I need to consider how I’m right or wrong, because I’m used to doing that on my own anyway. Obviously you need to reflect on yourself.

Because the dirty little secret is that CE’s are GROUP-BASED achievements, which means it wasn’t ALL you. From the facts and inconvenient truths of the matter, it probably had the LEAST to do with you, if only by virtue of the class/spec. But with WPvPing solo, it’s ALL ON YOU. So yeah, it’s much, much harder endgame.
Given that you’re happy in your own comfort zone, I’m not surprised you would bother putting yourself up to a real challenge of skill.
Any fool can BUY OFF something or someone. You got deep pockets? Bravo. You got a nice voice that says all the nice things? Bravo. You’re the raid leader’s best man at his wedding? Bravo. But what does this all have to do with being a good Hunter? Not just NOTHING but JACK-ALL. Because I can’t bribe who I can’t guarantee will be in the city before I get there. Because I can’t get on Discord and whisper sweet nothings to them so they can let me gank them. You don’t buy your wins in WPvP.
So you see why it’s hard for me to respect someone who is more celebrity than professional, and you see why it’s easier for me to respect someone who is professional rather than celebrity.
So you don’t get to tell me that I’m wrong, because you’re wrong being more of a socialite telling a specialist how the specialist gets it wrong. Now if I wanted to be more likable, that’s a different story. I don’t want to talk to Hunters who want to be liked and accepted, because that does nothing for me. I don’t care if that gets them in the top 50, what prestige there is to get. You’re trying to sell me your style, but I’m not interested in buying. I made that choice a LONG time ago to strike out on my own, and am I ever thankful. I did more and did better on my own than in any guild.
It doesn’t really matter what you say anymore, especially now that you self-admittedly couldn’t give a holy damn about MMs that are struggling to stay on. But you would cowardly derail the attempts of those who do care for them.
If I was given what I was needed, you would feel very small in my presence. And I’m sure I’d get more of that nervous laughter that wouldn’t help a thing.

If you actually suffer from anxiety, you’re automatically in the wrong class unless you’re more of the soloing casual that stays away from the endgame. In fact, I know people with anxiety who struggle with keeping up with online competitive gaming.

The best thing I’ve found with people who suffer with anxiety–after learning some harsh lessons in the Real–is just to leave them alone. Don’t come to them for anything important, don’t ask them to do or talk about difficult things. If they can function, great. If not, oh well. If you’re going to hold a grudge against me, there’s not much I can do to stop it. I don’t believe I need to stop doing what I’m doing, so I can work around the problem if I have to.
Anyway, in a time not too long from now somewhen before Classic Cata hits, I’m going to be gone. I got a level 75 in Classic and maybe do some play then, but after that…
The thing that concerns me is that you and the other guy are going to wait for my return, and you’re going to “I’ll keep on doing it”. I never promised I would return to Retail as that might be hard when there’s nothing to return to. The only reason I’m on Retail anymore is the goldfarming, but I promised I’d go up to bat for Hunters and to support the cause of RSV. And if I can make better gold on Classic, I may never have to touch Retail again. Token prices right now on Classic are not quite so bad given how much one can expect to make from dailies alone in 3.2 or 3.3.
In short, you keep doing you just like I’m doing me. That’s the meaning of forever. You don’t have a reason to change just like I don’t have a reason to change. You want to hold grudges against me for years on end like the other guy? Fine. But I have plenty of alts as I used to be plenty of other things before I was a Hunter. I don’t have to post with this one all the time if I don’t want to.
I think it’s relevant to remember that Hunters have already been looked at several times leading into and since the launch of Dragonflight. The current iteration is a big improvement over the earliest iterations of what the talent trees offered.
That being said, Hunters still need a lot of help. That’s just how bad things were before the current improvements.
I dont like disparaging people but i will say he cant go to bat for hunters until he levels one to 70. Btw, he has stated previously that he hasn’t played dragonflight yet so there’s that too. Most of the feedback is invalid, just a homie yelling into the void that he doesn’t know much about unfortunately. I personally think its an elaborate trolling attempt or Bepples 2.0 but either way I woudn’t engage further.
