Skills that require combo point(s) to use SHOULD NOT have energy requirement, because it just creates clunky gameplay and unrewarding downtime.
Right now playing rogue is like pushing a wheelchair

Wtf is wrong with pushing a wheelchair?

What have pallys ever done to you?
Alternatively, I’d suggest making it so abilities that require combo points wouldn’t trigger GCD, or would but only for a quarter of a second or so. That would feel more fluid in my opinion.
This is why I hate leveling rogues. Energy is clunky as it is (I haven’t done it long enough to get Vigor) and combo points on top of that? Oh heck no!
Yeah, a wheelchair that kills everyone you touch with it.
Nothing, it’s a noble use of one’s time.
But I don’t play WoW to use my time nobly. I play WoW to sneak around and steal stuff.
I doubt Blizzard would ever touch GCD issue, literally GCD is making a lot of classes’ rotations clunky
Heh Combat Potency goes brrrr.
You mean DKs?
Same, remove mana/rage/energy from druids, it feels clunky.
Also take shifting off gcd, and let it autoshift between spells.
If I want to cast frenzied regen one gcd, then starshard the next, it should let me with no pesky manual shifting eating up a gcd.
