Rogue redirect needs work

It’s on a 1 min cooldown to save your combo points off one NPC.

Why not just make the tank rune save all combo points like retail? Then at least pvp wouldn’t be that great in tank mode.

Really doesn’t seem useful at all

Not just that, you have to use a combo point generator to get those combos back on the new target. Redirect and Shuriken are both very underwhelming in design.

Shuriken Toss I was really hoping would be the salvation of Rogue tanking.

Spammable, medium-cost, ranged limited AoE?

Nah, absolute garbage. Still worst AoE threat class in the game.

Bear is the weakest AOE threat in the game. I know its easy to forget they exist.

Swipe is quite literally better than Shuriken. Higher ratio, higher damage, higher base, procs Omen, etc.

Berserk is better in every way than Blade Flurry on AoE.

Save the crocodile sky-is-falling druid tears for someone else.

Wow, shuriken does less then 15 damage to 3 targets? Sorry to hear that.

Also, bear doesnt get omen at 40 if they are specced correctly. And Blade Flurry is a 30 second cooldown versus a 3 minute one. Up time for blade flurry over 3 minutes is 60 seconds vs 15 seconds for berserk.

Sometimes we are too close to something to appreciate just how good we have things.

You mean like having the single strongest ranged PvP spec in the game? Or 100% mana-free spammable ranged damage for questing?

Or the mandatory melee solo-only-buff WF class? that still parses mid-high?

or the lone S+ ranked PvE healer?

You’re right, you’re only the literal best in the game at 3 of 4 available avenues.

Maybe you’re “too close to something” to “appreciate just how good you have things.”

 Begone, troll.

Edit: You have 10 posts in under an hour raging about “your life long love/only main druid”. I gotta block you dude, later.

Feral cat is only “decent” because it makes the real stars of the show shine. There are so many issues with the spec it would take a few paragraphs to write them all out. They also are low tier for pvp.

Balance is bottom of the barrel in PvE and mid in PvP. Warlocks and mages are better then them.

Healer - I dont heal so I dont care?

Plus we are talking tanks. Rogue tank is light years better then bear tanks.

Edit: blocking because you cant see the truth. Rogue tank is in a pretty decent spot. Also, I have to do something to stay busy between these 10 minute Challening roar cooldowns. Getting the beserk rune is annoying.

Agreed redirect is completely useless. They need to just make it passive/combo points stay on rogue rather than target.

This is laughable… you have no clue…

Shuriken scales with AP… Swipe does not… base damage that is it

Swipe hits 3 targets
Shuri hits 5

Swipe does 80 damage and doesn’t scale at all off of anything…it just does 80 damage
Shuri scales off of AP

Swipe does not proc omen.

Berserk lets you hit 3 mobs at a time for 15 seconds every 3 minutes. And to do so you need to take mangle, which means giving up lacerate, which means you have zero single target threat ability.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Blade Flurry is a 2 min CD unless they’ve changed it

You know that feeling playing as a rogue in SoD? When you have 4-5 combo points on a mob and you are about to use them or redirect them and then you get stunned for 5 seconds and your party kills it…

Yeah useless is a pretty good description. It was a good test to see if it would work and I am thankful they tried to solve our problem, but this isn’t the solution sadly. I think keeping combo points passively on the rogue is just the way to go. I don’t get the idea of why having redirect only usable in pve also, maybe being able to transfer them in pvp is to powerful? I’d like to be able to blind players running up on your 1v1 also without losing combo points, even with a mouseover macro you lose your points after casting blind on a different target.

This is just my 2 cents on the matter.

Also one more thing before I go. Like people have said about shuriken toss being pretty much not good to hold AoE threat is mostly true. I have little problem holding threat in a melee heavy group, but in a spell cleave group is almost impossible. I’d love to see some sort of threat modifier increase on shuriken toss while you have only a flesh rune on. I dont think it needs a damage boost or a better AP%, rogues were really not built to do AoE damage.

Blade Flurry is a 2 min cooldown.
