Will rogues see any aura or buff or utility or something similar so that they can be invited to raid more readily like all the other classes do? Other than damage which is middle of the pack and somewhat tanking is there anyway we can get something that makes people take at least 1 rogue?

Id recommend getting a guild. The only reason why it was so easy for a Rogue to pug in Classic was we were 2nd damage. I’d say 1st with bad tanks.
TBC was rough for this reason and they were wanted for IEA. But you only needed one. Got a feeling that will just magnify considering Homu is a thing.

Raid time consists of 1 hour per 3 days. Nobody really cares about that 1 hour.
Your contribution is your pvp, not your pve.
They made a boss that kills everyone if he doesn’t get kicked and then they called it a day.
I would like to see rogues give a attack speed bonus everytime they use a 5 combo point finisher. Attach it to slice and dice maybe.

Rogue’s contribution is opening lockboxes and locked chests and then demanding they get whatever is inside.
Rogues have the best interupt of all classes… bring solid to great DPS…

Tell me you have trouble dpsing as a rogue without telling me you have trouble dpsing as a rogue, swap your spec a bit, do some offtank duty, do call outs for the raid, tell some jokes. There really is more to the game than a pure utilitarian, dps scoreboard perspective. If you can’t get into a raid because you can’t convince yourself you’re useful or fun to be around then that’s on you.
These posts are more like “I can’t get into the parsing mode with strangers unless I can boost their dps” Why are you parsing with pugs to begin with?
They need tricks of the trade and fan of knives combo.
Bring kick
It has always been hard for rogues to pug in classic and in sod p1, but now it’s borderline impossible
I didn’t have to many issues with pugging in Classic, not that I don’t believe you I just didn’t have an issue then… TBC+ is when I had notable issues.
I assumed in SoD if we didn’t pump it would start causing issues though. No reason to bring a Rogue with Homu and them being lower dps this phase.
I really do recommend getting a guild, not all guilds are super try hard…
The guild I was in was a good one, really lax and didn’t care as long as things died.
Though it might be hard to find one like it was in TBC. I wish my fellow Rogues good luck.
