Rogue Order Hall Bug: Cannot Enter/Establish Rogue Order Hall

Hi Blizzard,

I just dinged 70 on my little sin Rogue, and she cannot enter the Hall of Shadows!

There are a bunch of invisible walls blocking the entrance when doing the quest [Call of the Uncrowned]. My toon glows yellow and gets a buff called “Time-Displaced Veil” and I cannot get in. There is a weird portal to Thaldraszus at the bottom of the staircase, too, which doesn’t seem relevant to the quest.

I tried troubleshooting and had a couple others try to enter the Rogue order hall, including a rogue that was only level 68, and it is not possible, so we cannot establish our Rogue order halls to start earning artifacts, mog, and mounts. One random guy seemed to be able to run through some of the walls, and he was also 70. I did not notice any strange buffs on giving him a mouseover. All in all, I have no idea what is going on and why some people might be able to move more freely than others.

Is there a fix or a workaround for this, even if it involves a party sync?

I feel rather a bit like someone served me Thistle Tea without honey here… I hope all the other millions of rogues who hit 70 and want to do the order hall explorations are not having the same problem as we few rogues just did today. Hopefully a fix comes soon!

I believe this will go away as soon as the pre-patch event ends. I think it’s to prevent phasing issues with class quests that require portals in the room that’s otherwise… currently occupied.

… That being said, I think it’s lazy of them to simply deny access to Class Order Hall quests during the prepatch. They could’ve simply phased players into the “normal” experience if they had an active/unfinished Class Order Hall quest.

This reminds me I have still yet to try flying in thru the sewer pipe.

Yes, or allow us to access Chromie time so we can go “back” and get there.

There is a portal in Thaldraszus. Should teleport you inside…

Appears to have been fixed during maintenance today. Thankfully.
