I have 2 Outlaw Rogues and one Sin Rogue.

And I have a Feral sitting somewhere in the 50’s, I got bored with it and left it there years ago.

Vanish + Cloak of Shadows = Amazeballs

Rogue will almost Always have specs that perform extremely well in all content. Their three specs vary enough to give you variety and choice.

Feral has been pretty inconsistent with its performance historically. And you just have the one spec. You can always try all three and see which class speaks to you.

rogue is probably your best bet if you wanna do pve stuff past lfr and mythic 0’s. best bet if you wanna do arenas as well. but feral is really fun and if you dont care about ratings and doing mythic or heroic raids you might enjoy the perks of druid over rogue

This, even if you don’t do high end stuff right now, someday you might, and it’s good to know that if that day should come, you are already playing a class with a long history of endgame excellence.

Feral comes with a Resto Druid, and they rock. Just saying.

Feral has had identity issues ever since Bear & Cat form utilization were made mostly seperate specs. Now Feral just feels like a Rogue Caricature

As a Rogue that hunts Feral Druids for sport, go Rogue. Feral feels like a Rogue with half the kit missing.

You can be a demon hunter instead and find rogues and druids in stealth

That’s cooler than being a rogue or druid

Go Feral. Rogues are over-valued and are more or less portable stealth generators for M+. Hit a Rogue with bleeds and he’s a dead man.

Feral has better Versatility by a country mile and is better for group content.

Fun is subjective

It’s not the spec you asked about, but I find subtlety rogue a lot of fun. Way more fun than feral.

Rogue does everything Feral does but 50x better

This is extremely accurate.

Feral has had some high points in there, but as a kit with “a little bit of everything” it generally feels like it lags behind–because when it doesn’t, it’s insanely overpowered.

Unless the mechanics on Druid are adjusted, Feral will always feel like Costco Rogue.

Rogue, godly for m+ and you can gank people when bored.

Fury warrior is the correct answer.

outlaw is super fun in m+. i never got into feral but it does give you the backup options of being a strong healer or a mostly adequate tank.

Wow so many people here calling Feral a watered-down Rogue. They are both energy-based combo point classes with an emphasis on DoTs, but I wouldn’t have called one worse than the other.

Feral boosts stronger survivability than Rogue. Stronger defensives and stronger self-healing options make it a more attractive option for solo play. I personally also enjoy the bleed snapshotting aspect of its rotation, which Rogue does not focus on as much. I’m not super sure what Rogue AoE as like but Feral’s uncapped AoE especially when combined with Nature’s Vigil shines especially bright as one of their high points. The other major point being their incredibly strong funnel damage.

I feel like a lot of people here seem to be working with an outdated vision of Feral. But the Dragonflight talent rework was especially kind to it. There’s a reason why they’re a meta spec in the MDI right now, something a lot of people here seem to have not noticed.
