Rogue or DH?

Trying to determine which toon to gear up. Sin has felt very squish through leveling for me and i just switched over to outlaw. Im thinking with proper gear sin will feel better. Im also thinking dh is less strenuous on the button mashing but rogue is probably the better pvp choice?

Leveling is pretty quick so I say level both. I have 2 of each lol. Both very fun specs but the mobility of DH and Glide is hard to pass up. Good luck!

Yeah ill probably end up leveling and gearing both. I may try outlaw this xpac instead of sin. As far as DH also super fun dunno if i had to decide between the two.

I can’t live without stealth so its rogue for me.
I also can’t play assassin. Just doesn’t feel like the classic wow rogue experience. I was sub for a bit, but my burst wasn’t decent.
Now it’s outlaw time!

I’m in the same spot. Sub burst feels weak and it’s on a 3 minute cd- it really just feels like “high sustained damage for 8 seconds”. I tried to make assassination work but honestly it’s all bleed and poison over time. Next is outlaw then on to another class, or maybe game since I’d rather play a opportunistic stealth class with high burst damage and wow just doesn’t fill that niche from what I can tell.

OP without trying outlaw more extensively I can’t recommend which to play but I play BGs with my DH friend and last expansion I did arenas with a different DH friend and I will say that both seems to have a lot more fun than their previous mains druid and you guessed it druid.

I actually had this same thought two days ago, i decided on assassin rogue, over havoc for raiding, mostly because i feel like rogue has more survivbility in heroic/mythic raids then havoc will, even with netherwalk, rogue has CD, feint, crimson, recuperate, leeching, CoS.

Havoc mostly just has leech, 1 sec inv for physical if timed right, blur, netherwalk, and darkness. with how spikey the damage is in heroic raid which only gets worse in mythic, i feel like havoc would rely on the healers much more to save them.

All personal opinion though, best of luck to whichever you choose.

Yeah Im thinking with rogue I will do mythics as outlaw and sin for raids.

Rogue is fun as a pvp class. Especially if you are an objective focused player. Stealth caps, flag carrying / stealth defender and jump on opponents who come alone etc.

Its really fun. Assassination is really good and has a low APM count compared to Havoc DH so I kind of find it relaxing but still engaging.

I have been doing some solo shuffle games on my rogue to get the 1250 honor for vault pieces since im mostly a casual player and am not interested in grinding high rating. I mostly stick to BGs. I can hold my own most of the time but in the higher rating it can be kinda tough with less coordinated play and people focusing you. Then you get people being toxic to you. They arent saying this exactly but i get the feeling when they see a Rogue they are expecting some rank 1 Rogue player.

Every expansion ive played i dabbled into Rogue a bit and for the first time after the toxicity I have been getting i am starting to feel maybe Rogue isnt for me and maybe i should just play a Healer instead and probably do more PVE stuff and avoid solo shuffle altogether
