Which class is preferable in your opinion and why?

Rogues have 3 dps specs, it’s likely atleast 1 of them will be good at any given time
DH can tank though, so if that’s your cup of tea?
Personally I don’t much like either, however the mobility on a DH is pleasing.
Being a sneakyboi is meh (in my personal opinion)

Considering dh doesn’t even have talent trees yet for DF, I would wait for pre-patch to decide

If you intend to play DH be ready to tank. DH has 2 specs and one is a tank. Never play a class for one spec, especially not a class with only 2 specs.
If you have zero interest in tanking, roll rogue. If you want stealth, roll rogue. If you want double jump, embrace tanking and roll DH.

They can also DPS, I’m just saying don’t play them for one spec. Be prepared to do both. One spec tanks, the other is DPS, and there will content where the DPS spec is not ideal.

They’re both very active in their play style, Demon Hunter DPS spec is fairly straight forward 1-2-3, where Rogue having three specs will feel very free in terms of options.
Rogue does a lot more damage.
Demon Hunter can tank.

Demonhunter because it has the tank option.
For me I enjoy both but if I were to chose I’d say rogue.
I LOVE assassination rogue, love the feel, love bleeding and poisoning stuff and watching them die. Love garroting casters in PvP and watching them squirm.
Oh and in Dragonflight there is an Assassination talent that allows you to apply 1 more lethal poison AND non-lethal for 4 poisons up! Can do mind numbing, crippling, deadly and the new amplifying poison (would trade amplifying out for Wound Poison in PvP and Leeching poison doesn’t count so you can have a total of 5 up if talented) all active at once! And you can choose sepsis or bone spike.
It’s going to be so much fun to mess around with in both PvE and PvP in DF.
Oh and rogues have stealth, pickpocketing, and lockpicking…

I dont know I play a DH and I’m pretty idiotic 
Demon Hunters have to calculate a jump to hyperspace every time they press Fel Rush.
Demon hunter because they apply a magic debuff to enemies so magic damage dealers do 5% more damage. They are also x100 more fun to play without stupid energy bar.
