Hey Everyone, Ive always wanted to try out a rogue-only guild and pve dungeon challenge runs in wow vanilla. Early on in classic I went on a few accidental rogue only runs and found it to be the most fun Ive ever had in wow.
If you would be interested in this kind of gameplay please message Heist on Deviate Delight or add LastDinosaur#1170 on battle.net. There is also the Thick as Thieves guild on Deviate Delight that is a rogue-only guild.
Playing the game in a completely different way than the norm reinvigorates the game and makes it vastly more fun that it was previously. Because rogues can juggle threat between players, dodge tank, dps burst, poison, expose armor and bleed and then even kite with sprint they have a highly varied toolset to dispose of bosses.
When we were playing a 5dps group which you can see on this youtube video here ( https://youtu.be/-2uHeJuS46M ) we were able to take the boss down much faster because we had 2 extra dps giving us 2/3rds more dps than a standard tank and heal and dps group. Plus our utility of vanish and feint and even stunlocking mobs and adds made us easily able to take the boss on.
While we could not heal nearly as effectively as a normal group, it was still the most fun ive ever had playing wow. It is a rogue only guild on the deviate delight server which has a great community and a horde rogue-only guild on it as well.
