I’ve been playing rogue since vanilla and remember ambush 1 shotting clothies like butter, but now it seems rogue has to play much harder than other specs. Low dmg, leather armor, bad hero talents, how did rogue get so bad since vanilla when it was the premiere pvp class?
Maybe I’ll just use my rogue for delves and thats it
Edit: tried feral instead. was too hard, got to level 76 and quit. What should I play instead?
rogues arent bad its just other classes are better.
Rogues can die compared to other classes like dh and dk. They’re still good tho.

Yes it’s terrible, don’t even bother trying to play it. Rogues aren’t capable of making it past 2k since you can’t even one shot anyone. Also, don’t bother looking up videos of rogues in high rated pvp, those videos don’t exist because rogue is awful.
I agree if the forums have taught me anything, it’s that mages, rogues and warlocks have literally never been viable, and warriors are only viable if they have global killing potential.
I mean mages and warlocks are fine, it’s really just rogues
Rogues not bad, seen a couple outlaws and assa at 2200 on beta.
Sub and outlaw are pretty trash atm. Armor values are ridiculous, seems they forgot about that 35% reduction to armor in pvp.
Considering how at least one rogue spec was always god tier in every DF PvP season I have faith they won’t let rogues be behind for too long.
At least in BGB they’re still going to be god tier based on their utility alone to ninja bases constantly. Sub could do actually 0 damage and still carry an AB.
I truly think feral is the new rogue though. Great rot/AoE pressure, good defensives with bear form and self healing, amazing 1v1, the best CC in the game with clone, and it still has a kidney shot (maim), and cheap shot (rake). Unless feral gets severely nerfed it’s straight up replacing rogues.

Could play prot war to get higher than abomb in shuffle and make him rage delete his character in shame (again).

Frost mage is Great. Rogue is trash. Too many nerfs on defensives and also the stealth bug is making them absolutely unplayable. I swapped to frost mage and have yet to die even once.
