Is this more of you “expert advice” you were talking about last night about best pvp class warlock or priest?
What happens when the frost mage blinks or blocks out of it and bends the rogue over a barrel and shows him the 50 states?
What happens when the Suc makes the rogue fall in love, or the lock sacs his pet?
What happens when the hunter is using find hidden, flares you, pops BR, int, drops a dot on you and /point /laugh at the rogue?
What happens when the Paladin bubbles?
What happens if I have a LIP?
The rogue won’t have a trinket either.
This is just a stupid argument for saying Rogue is the best, honestly a Rogue is pretty much the worst in PvP in my experience, the only thing they excel at is ganking at the opportune time, like when you’re half HP, no mana and sitting down drinking, or fighting 3 mobs.
That is pretty much what wpvp is, and will be for a while. There will be groups sure. But a lot of rag tag, not really team, rather in the same place at the same time, or wandered across, fights. Where people are helping you incidentally but really in it for themself. Rogue/druid, are great for choosing which situations to engage in and not.
Opportune timing is the greatest factor of all.

I main rogue and let people heal up before I kill them lol rogue is just the best in vanilla. Mage close 2nd. The only classes that feel disadvantaged to 1v1 is a geared ret or spriest. Need to expose armor reset opener or spriest is tanky. Full reck auto attack while hoj is rough too so need to vanish batch the hoj vs ret.

Rogue definitely has some nice tricks when all their CDs are up, but meh. I guess individual skill counts for a lot. I used to run with some very, very skilled PvP players. Fact of the matter is, most players aren’t very good, nor do they use their entire kit.
I played a Rogue for years, raided and PvPd, at one time I think I had 21 keybinds that I’d need at a moments notice, and I still ran into Hunters that would dumpster me.
The one class I have yet to master, and actually played is a hunter. I’ve seen absolutely amazing hunters just shut down almost any class, including me on a Rogue, but I just can’t seem to click with them.

Second best PvE DPS and the best PvP class. In open 1v1s only thing that beats rogue is SL lock.
But rogues don’t benefit from… DUAL SPEC
