Rogue Griefing Through Engineering Bug

Hi,

Is anything going to be done to address these players who are doing this? One preformed this glitch on a mob i was killing and then ended My hardcore characters life.

Please correct this bug and revert the hardcore status on player who are griefed.
Thanks

I don’t think you can get your HC status restored, but file a report and you might get that player banned.

Blizz isn’t doing arbitration.
If you are following the HC rules, go to HC website to see if/how you appeal.

It was neither a bug, nor a glitch.

It was a feature.

why on earth would someone get banned for that

Because its griefing?

This just goes to show how poorly conceived SOI is.

OP loses the buff and wastes several hours of their life.

Other player gets banned, losing all their time investment and the ability to play.

Everyone’s a winner!

yeah it’s on blizz to properly support ironman mode. Not just toss a buff in there and go lolk

The actual HC players are just appealing it anywsy

Tag your sarcasm, man.
It’s going over people’s heads.

Just report the player. Blizzard is banning for griefing more than they used to.

For abusing game bugs obviously. why you felt the need to ask is nuts

Except it isn’t a bug. It was an intended effect.

Straight up, the SOI people should have their own server instead of mixing in with players who aren’t hardcore. Then when you die it is dead. Sure your server will be dead in a month, but at least we can stop reading all the whining from the SOI players who can’t fathom the idea that player driven mechanics might actually get them killed in the open world.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

Could you explain this glitch? What they do specifically so “blizzard” replicate the issue?

Blizzard truly lacks self reflection if they thought they were going to be able to build an actual functioning game feature such as Soul of Iron.

Truly bit off more than they can chew (which is very little)
