Blade Rush… really? I was hoping to skip that talent as I was tinkering in the talent calculator. Oh well.
I love Blade Rush but the way they are forcing usage of BR and Kspree which are both talent choices is the wrong way to go about it IMO.
I think with BR being part of a tier set it indicates they ARE balancing the spec’s energy and damage profile around BR now.
Sub’s bonuses are pretty straightforward but the spec may see more changes so that is maybe why they kept it very simple.
Assassination set bonuses are really interesting to say the least right now.

And Assassination’s Sanguine Blades has been removed on Alpha build.
blade rush is actually pretty cool this expansion, and you’ll need it for energy anyways
a large painpoint since df was how blade rush was left abandoned

I wouldn’t call them interesting. They are just simple damage increases. I like simple so I’m not complaining.
as a long time, user and advocator of blade rush, I have a slightly mixed feelings on blade rush being the tier set bonus. Is that 30% actually good? like how hard is BR hitting for on alpha? hopefully, 700k +… I know there’s a squish happening, but we should be able to make a comparison.
i mean, its a fairly substantial button in midnight so it being a tierset is fine. someone did napkin math in the discord a bit ago and it ended up being decently strong as far as first season tier sets go (remeber the goal is 5-8% goal increases for season1 tiersets). obviously its not that cut and dry, but considering you slam br on cd anyways. this ends up being a net positive
The only problem with that in pvp is I used it as a charge, especially against those pesky kiting classes. with the cdr and the 4pc shaving off 6 seconds, should be back up in a relatively short time I guess.
