Ok Blizz, you had Torghast and now delves. Neither are designed in any way with rogues in mind. Rogues use stealth, pickpoketing and lockpicking. None of that has much, if any, utility in delves. Instead, you have swarms of mobs, ranged casters included, who just turn rogues into nothing but warriors in leather, with low HP pools and no tank spec. You could be a bit more creative with these things, but instead it’s just zerg and smash. No thought at all.
It would be fun if they at least put some Rogue specific tasks into delves with seperate rewards.
Lol you do know that you can use Brann as a ToT target, right?
I’m having a very easy time in Delves as Outlaw.
They’re easy on outlaw, but that requires knowing how to play outlaw.
Based on what I’ve seen, this seems to be the case for most classes.
It’s not an ease thing. It’s a class fantasy thing. The delves are not designed for rogues to do anything different from the smash and grab classes. It’s easy on all specs. It’s just not designed well.
What u can stealth throw like 60% delves after objectives to last boss lol
Yeah i dunno how many times I’ve sapped and stunned and stealthed my way through half of the delves and interacting only with what i wanted lol
Even though stealthing through them is possible I guess OP referring to stuff like unlocking doors.
Delves could use a touch on class fantasy, Fungal Folly should’ve had Druids creating vines or mushrooms to traverse across gaps.
Hot take - rogues don’t need three DPS specs, especially when the differences between them are so small. I would like to see Outlaw remade from a pirate theme to a proper swashbuckler theme, and be a tank spec. The traditional cinematic swashbuckler is portrayed as very tanky, they basically just dodge and avoid everything. There has to be a way to turn that into a fun, mobile, engaging tank spec based around skill and swordplay rather than magical nonsense.
