This is absolutely amazing. Whoever came up with Shank fixed so many things with one ability that adds a different flavor to all three trees. Will it be perfect? Probably not, but at least all three trees have a much more coherent vision and play style now. Thank you for all the hard work Dev Team!!!

This changes a lot, and I’m here for it to be honest. I’m not entirely clear on what the Assassination tree will look like but all the changes look positive and allow for more expressive builds- even with the Subtlety tree!

Youll probably be nerfed in the first week

Hey people kept telling rogues to shut up, Blizzard said we’d be top single target dps. I told everyone it wasn’t happening without massive changes. Apparently Blizzard agreed.

They have level 60 testers and they saw how bad rogue was doing. This was the correction.

Regardless of the power of these changes, they really shake things up and allow for way more build theorycrafting & excitement imo. There are so many options to look into/try - honestly if this is actually just too OP - I’d rather other classes get other buffs than rogues going back how they were, which was basically just Classic Rogues with nerfs.

Muts back on the menu… well very late in the game it is.

I can’t believe the simple joy of Shank. Even the name is a dream…

Big win for the stab brethren.

We’ll have to see how it plays out but PVE Sub actually feels like it’s going to be fun and rotationally viable now where it wasn’t before.

The Poised + Shank additions completely revitalized it.

Deathmark getting double benefit from Bleeds? Garrote out of stealth and without position requirement? Ambush OoS removed as RNG proc and now just tied to a 20 second CD Ghostly Strike? LFG.

For real, the changes to Venom are hugely welcome

Currently looking at a 12/8/31 build for Sub. Kind of running into the same problem I was having with Relentless Strikes before, but maybe I can drop Blood Splatter and a point of Improved Slice and Dice if I need the hit from Precision…

I think the direction they were trying to go with Assassination & Sub both look way more interesting and possible now. Also the energy regen from combat looks actually wild lol - is it even possible to run out of energy as Combat now hah

Clearly wasnt the shaman dev.. LOL

Yeah wasn’t sure if getting to blood splatter or going heavier combat for Hit & maybe even 2 points for off-hand spec, expertise, etc? Not sure

Yeah this addressed a lot of the issues I was hearing about - energy generation, trees still having the ‘combat is still just best for pve’ vibe, and feeling like despite talent trees being rearranged everything felt just a little worse than classic before. Now I’m excited to try the new stuff, and having a way to generate energy that doesn’t require a thistle tea crafting session makes me happy.

feels great man ! Im a rogue / Warr main . both got that regeneration ability  Side piece is a hunter and that got love too

My only real remaining concern is bleed and poison immunities. If they have to exist, I really hope there’s little to no overlap, so if a boss is bleed immune I can swap to Assassination and vice versa for poisons. I really don’t want to be forced into having a Combat off spec
