Rogue | Can't get out of stealth

15 years I’ve been playing WoW, and a few days ago a weird glitch happens frequently, but not 100% of the time. When I stealth, I simply cannot un-stealth. I have to attack something, or do an action that would take me out of stealth. No my mouse, keyboard, etc aren’t broken. No one else in game is claiming they have this issue? WTH is going on?

Seems to be a bug. Sometimes I can simply press my stealth button again and it will take me out of stealth. Other times it won’t and I have to right click off the stealth buff.

Maybe its some kind of a roleplaying curse?

Try casting Stealth again. I think it works kind of like an On Off switch.

I honestly thought that was just me, seems to happen for me when I dismount and stealth quickly. not sure if that’s a coincidence or if that’s the thing that’s doing it.

Thooough it does happen indoors sometimes…

I have had it randomly as well. Sometimes i have to click it off my buff bar, but most of the time it works just fine.

I have come across this when zoning in stealth. You can click the buff off to come out of stealth.

I haven’t had this problem as a cat druid when prowling, maybe there is a macro you could make until this is fixed, for druids I know there is /cancelform , maybe there is /cancelstealth or something that does that?

Hey, it could be worse, you could be trapped in combat.

This happens on my Shadow Priest in shadowform. I have to right click shadowform on my buff window to exit shadowform sometimes

Randomly, not always…recently I have encountered that the stealth button above my action bars does not always toggle stealth. Some times it works, some times it does not. When it doesnt, I have to right click the buff up top to remove it.

I don’t know how to tell you this OP but I think you might be a poltergeist. Nobody can see you unless you throw objects around or hit them. Please don’t possess any horde war chiefs and turn them into cartoon villains.

I think I had this happen to me a few times recently actually. I think you can just right click the buff off.
