Not sure if WoW “classic”, but this is where site directed me.
Curious to know if anyone else has noticed this bug: When first enter stealth, no problem. Then, after entering stealth about half-a-dozen times, a persistent clicking begins. No way to eliminate it other than by leaving stealth. Then, after this happens a few times, when next entering stealth, a very loud, obnoxious buzzing begins. No way to eliminate buzzing other than by quitting the game entirely.
Have reported this bug at least 5 or 6 times (lost count), but Blizzard has refused to address this problem. And this is a game-breaking bug that requires attention.
If anyone is familiar with this or knows a fix, please advise. Thank you kindly.
Is this bug happening on Era, wotlk, or SoD?
What kind of buzz please describe the sound
I’m not sure I follow but I think this is another thread complaining about the economy again.
I’m playing only on WoW standard, not Classic. I thought I was downloading Classic, but apparently, something went wrong and I got the standard version. Don’t know what Era is. Also, not on any specialty platform like Lich king or SoD. Sorry if my explanation is lacking, but thank you very much for your reply. Much appreciated.
CLICKING:
Steady click, every 1/4 second; very rhythmic, constant. Not loud, just persistent.
BUZZING:
Then, after the clicking occurs several times (by turing Stealth off/on as it’s so annoying), the VERY loud buzzing eventually begins. Sounds rather like an electric guitar being incorrectly unplugged from its amp.
The clicking can be stopped by exiting stealth, but then you have no stealth without that click. The buzzing cannot be stopped by ANY means, other than by exiting the entire game then restarting the game.
I’m pretty sure this is consistent with client hacking. Enjoy your ban.
I would suggest you to move this subject here: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/c/support/technical-support/15
You do that by using the EDIT pencil icon near the subject line.
