Thinking of making one primarily for PvE(gasp)
What race would be recommended? I know troll berserking used to be bis but that was a long time ago
I like Orc or Undead aesthetically. Best racial is probably Goblin for PvE if I had to guess.
undead, because when you do PvP, you can eat the people you kill
Undead are cool. Goblins are cool. Trolls are cool. Highmountains are just funny, sneaking about at 2000lbs.

If I were to play horde, 100% go tauren.

Earthen have great racials for PvE rogues. 
Vulpera for the camp.
Blood Elf for the Transmog.

I have to give it to the Goblins. Plus, with Undermine coming up, makes a nice way to blend into the scenery.

Panda gives even more fall distance, and an extra CC. It’s like just flat improving your rogue traits!
